Fujian is the only province in the country with the name Guanfu, and the Fujian people's understanding of "Fu" also has a broader and far-reaching meaning than the literal concept. Zhu Xi, a master of Confucianism, did not love the officialdom, and gave lectures in many places in Fujian, not only on the side of blessings, but also on the ideological theory, and Lin Zexu, who wrote the poem "Profiting the life and death of the country, it is better to avoid the trend because of misfortune", Lin Juemin, who said "When Yile sacrifices the welfare of my body and the body of Ru, and seeks eternal happiness for the people of the world"... From ancient times to the present, Fujian people have influenced generations of people and even entire nationalities with their understanding of "Fu".

"It is said that in the fifty years after Zhu Xi entered the army in the examination, he served as an official in other places for twenty-seven years, and only 40 days as an official in the DPRK. Zhu Xi did not linger on the official field, but spent all his time writing books and doing academic work. He set up pavilions everywhere, preached and preached, and spread his blessings all over the country. In Nanping, Zhangzhou, Fuzhou and other places, there are academies run by Zhu Xi, and disciples are all over Fujian. Under his influence, Fujian Academy flourished, the atmosphere of xiangxue was strong, and Zhu Xi and his followers formed the Minxue school, which had a profound impact on future generations.
Zhu Xi not only taught and educated people in Fujian, but also left "fu" in many places in Fujian. In Wushan, downtown Fuzhou, there is also a word diameter of 4.25 meters "Fu". However, the original Fu character was destroyed due to its age, and in April 2009, when fuziping was rebuilt in Ziqingyuan on the northern slope of Wushan, the inscription of Zhu Xi "Fu" in Yongtai was engraved on the large rock on the left side of the White Monkey Cave, and the left side was engraved with Zhu Xi's late character name "Obscure Weng". In Fushan Country Park, the huge "Fu" character with a height of about 4.4 meters is extended from the Zhu Xi "Fu" character in Wushan, which is the largest "Fu" character Moya inscription in Fuzhou so far.

Lin Juemin: Sacrifice my body and seek the blessing of the world
Lin Juemin, who came out of the seven lanes of Sanfang in Fuzhou, wrote the "Letter with His Wife" before participating in the Guangzhou Uprising, expressing his endless love for his wife Chen Yiying and his deep love for the country in the depths of the water, one of which is "When Yile sacrifices the welfare of my body and the body of Ru, seek eternal happiness for the people of the world", it is even more the spirit of great love that sacrifices personal happiness for the sake of the people of the world.
In 1887 (the thirteenth year of Qing Guangxu), Lin Juemin was born in Sanfang And Qixiang. In 1907, Lin Juemin traveled east to Japan to study, and later joined the Chinese League. The letter revealed the complex emotions of "I love Ru most" and had to "endure Ru and die", extending my love to the love of the whole world, which is both lingering and compassionate and proud of "seeking eternal happiness for the people of the world", and it is still tearful to read today.
Lin Zexu: Profiting the country, misfortune is not avoided
The "Humen Selling Cigarettes" led by national hero Lin Zexu shook the world, and his phrase "Profiting the life and death of the country, it is better to avoid it because of misfortune and happiness" is even more impressive. The blessed culture contained in it, which regards the world as its own responsibility, has become a precious spiritual wealth of the Chinese nation.
In 1785 (the fiftieth year of the Qianlong Dynasty), Lin Zexu was born in Zuoyingsi Lane, Houguan County (now No. 19 Zhongshan Road, Fuzhou). Lin Zexu was 13 years old and took the exam at the age of 19. In 1811, at the age of 26, he participated in the third examination and passed the entrance examination. In 1839, Lin Zexu went to Guangdong as a minister of Chincha to ban smoking. After that, the Opium War broke out, lin Zexu was framed, accused, dismissed from his post, and sent to Xinjiang Ili. In 1841, on the way to Shushu, when he and his wife were bidding farewell to the ancient city of Xi'an, Lin Zexu composed two poems with indignation, "Going to Shu Dengchengkou to Show His Family", and wrote down the famous sentence "If the country lives and dies, it is better to avoid it because of misfortune." The iron bones embodied in it, regardless of personal misfortune and willingness to dedicate themselves to the country, have shaken people's hearts to this day.
Today, in the Lin Zexu Memorial Hall (Lin Wenzhong Ancestral Hall) located in The Seventh Lane of Sanfang in Fuzhou, these two famous sentences are engraved on the pillars on both sides of the Imperial Monument Pavilion, and tourists are bustling with tourists and will stop here. This Fujianese people's concept of misfortune and happiness still exerts its powerful influence and inspires generations of Chinese.
