This lady is Song Fujin, probably from today's Hubei, she was originally a big girl, born in a family of scholars. However, due to the turbulent situation in her childhood, the family was lost and unfortunately separated from her family, and she had the privilege of meeting the local assassin Wang Rong when Liu left the present-day Nanjing generation, because Wang Rong saw that she was about the same age as his daughter, so he took her in as his daughter's personal servant.
Therefore, she grew up with Miss Wang Jia and studied poetry and music together. Later, Miss Wang reached the age when she should get married and married Xu Zhihuan under the arrangement of her parents. And Song Fujin naturally went to the Xu family as a dowry. After Xu Wen's death, Xu Zhihuan took this opportunity to seize the military power that Xu Zhiyan had inherited from Xu Wen, and soon after, Xu Zhihuan overthrew the imperial court as emperor and established the Southern Tang. Later, in order to make his identity justified, he also restored his surname to Li and changed his name to Fu, claiming to be after Tang Xianzong.
The original intention remains unchanged, and Song Fujin has become a generation of sages
After Xu Zhihuan became emperor, although Wang Shi had died, she was the original match after all, and according to the regulations, she should be posthumously crowned empress, but Xu Zhihuan did not do so. Xu Zhihuan was very grateful for Song Fujin's company, and in his heart he was more interested in the wife who accompanied him all the way. He only posthumously honored a concubine of the Wang clan and crowned Song Fujin as an empress, and in this way, Song Fujin became the founding empress of the Southern Tang Dynasty.
After that, Xu Zhihuan was diligent in government for the people, and Song Fujin carefully assisted him, vigorously maintaining the relationship between her husband and various ministers, so she also won the support of many courtiers.
After Xu Zhihuan's death, Song Fujin's son Li Jing took the throne, and the popular Song Fujin was advised by the ministers of the dynasty to bow to the government, but she refused. Two years later, Song Fujin died and was buried with Xu Zhihuan, with the nickname "Empress Yuanjing".
