Ying Ruijin and Ying Ruiyu from the Suzhou Whale Qi Ice Hockey Team are a pair of dragon and phoenix brothers and sisters. At the age of 10, they began skating in November 2019.
From the initial stumbling and sliding on the ice, to the current flying on the ice and wielding the ice hockey club, ice hockey has brought them a different experience.
At present, the older sister mainly studies right-back, and the younger brother mainly studies left winger. Since May 2020, they have participated in more than 30 competitions in Hangzhou, Suzhou, Wuxi, Shenzhen, Chengdu and other places, with successes and failures. Through this ice group sport, the children fully experienced the team spirit, trusted their coaches and teammates more, and faced various challenges in learning and life more courageously and actively.
Hockey training is sometimes boring, but the siblings never want to give up. They say they insist on it because they love it.
