So Kangxi found Dai Zi and ordered him to build this kind of gun within ten days, and as a result, Dai Zi only took two days to build ten identical guns, which made the Dutch emissaries very shocked and slipped back to their country. Dai Zi, who was out of the limelight, thus offended people in the court, and was pre-framed for "smuggling with Nanyang" and was finally exiled by the emperor.
