Daishan County is located in the northeast of Zhejiang Province, in the middle of the Zhoushan Islands, and belongs to Zhoushan City. Latitude 30°07′-30°38′ N, longitude 121°31′-123°17′ E. It is bordered by shengsi islands to the north, the high seas to the east, and Zhoushan main island to the south. The county consists of 379 large and small islands,[13] of which 16 are inhabited islands, of which Daishan Island is the largest, with a land area of 104.97 square kilometers. The total area is 5,242 square kilometers,[16] of which the land area is 326.50 square kilometers (including 57.40 square kilometers in the intertidal zone) and the sea area is 4915.50 square kilometers[1].

Among them, the added value of the primary industry was 3.63 billion yuan, down 10.6%; the added value of the secondary industry was 25.60 billion yuan, an increase of 113.9%; the added value of the tertiary industry was 9.25 billion yuan, an increase of 8.3%. Daishan County islands are in a southwest-northeast direction, with Daishan Island as the center, and the islands are distributed in an "X" shape. Daishan belongs to the northern subtropical southern edge monsoon oceanic climate, no summer heat, no severe cold in winter, warm and humid, four distinct seasons, fresh air all year round, the county's forest coverage rate of 42%, the concentration of negative oxygen ions in the air is significantly higher than in urban areas.
Tourism resources
Daishan County is rich in tourism resources, especially Qushan Island. Qushan Island is a pearl in the East China Sea and is said to be the dojo where Guanyin Bodhisattva attained enlightenment. According to the Tang tablets, as early as the Tang Dynasty, there was a temple - Dongting Temple. On the north shore of Qushan Island, there are two sandy beaches in the east and west, Shuanglong Beach and Changsha Beach, and on the south shore there are Mazu Rock Beach and Wannan Mountain Cliff.

Guangji Temple, Guanyin Mountain, Qushan County, Daishan County. Guanyin Mountain
Hongfu Temple was originally built in the fourth year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty (1854), located on the top of Guanyin Mountain, the temple has a construction area of 757 square meters, the main hall structure collects the essence of the hall, room, pavilion and garden, which is quite distinctive, and the hall enshrines the statue of Guanyin and the Eighteen Arhats.
About 80 meters along the downhill road or walking trail is The Puqing Temple of Guangji Zhongsi Temple, Puqing Temple was originally built in the forty-ninth year of Qianlong (1784), with a construction area of 1201 square meters, the temple is magnificent, it is the activity center of Guangji Temple, the main hall is 9 meters high, the statue of Guanyin Buddha is as high as 6 meters, and there are 36 marble statues of Guanyin incarnations on both sides. Behind the main hall, the west side is the Jizo Hall, the east is the Thousand Buddha Hall, and there are more than 1,000 Buddha statues of various sizes in the Thousand Buddha Hall, all carved from Han white jade, crystal white, lifelike, which is rare.
Puqing Temple
Guanyin Mountain Jade Buddha Pagoda. Located on the east side of Hongfu Temple at the top of Guanyin Mountain, all made of granite blocks, a total of 11 floors, 45 meters high, each floor is about 4 meters high, and the staircase inside the tower can reach the top of the tower. Each floor of the pagoda is dedicated to many small jade Buddhas, counting more than 200 statues. The tower is white, which is even more striking among the green hills around it. Climbing this tower, that is, standing at the highest point of Daishan Mountain, looking down, as if in the sky, the sea view, mountain view, the sea in the sea can see the tower shadow dozens of miles away, which is a major wonder of the Guanyin Mountain Scenic Area.
