This is a set of traditional epic poems, inscribed on the paintings of Shi Leshan Buddha Tucheng. The author is Ye Hao, a famous minister in the early Southern Song Dynasty. According to the "Song Shi Ye Yong", Ye Gong went from being a scholar to serving in a local zhi county, and then to a court of rank, to an official to the center, all of whom sought happiness for the people, dedicated themselves to the country, had the virtue of upholding righteousness, had the ability to govern the world, and had more insight and insight.

This group of poems does not advocate an overemphasis on the miracle and allegorical role of His Holiness the Buddha. The poem says, "Why bother with tu cheng... The old boxers are looking for each other day by day. Tui En forgot to complain about the pool of ma ma... Not only a monk should know. It means that Shi Le's victory is a military, current situation and other factors, and cannot be achieved by the miracle prediction of a single person. At that time, Shi Le only dominated one side and did not really realize the unification of the country, and the verses wanted to show that his Holiness Buddha Tucheng's help to Shi Le was limited. At the same time, the destruction of the Zhao and Later Zhao imperial families by Ran Min shows that the foresight of His Holiness Buddha Tucheng is limited. In fact, Buddhism does not preach divine powers, but manifests in life with a normal mind, a pure mind, and a dwelling mind, and the habit of disturbing emotions should not become a problem of the mind and a shackle of life, and the eighty-four thousand Dharmas are only methods. And the Dhamma cannot be attached, "If someone says something like this, it is a slander against the Buddha." ”

Ye Gong's group of poems has a special reminder significance for practitioners, that is, to make us truly realize that faith stems from the enlightenment of the supreme good, from the correction of ignorant habits, from firm faith and practice in the Dhamma, from compassion and benefit to all sentient beings without distinction, from the vow of refuge and achievement to the supreme Buddha's path, and is by no means a miracle, a wanton desire, and a lot of appearances. And the mind is peaceful and pure, the body is light and at ease, and things are natural.

In the last poem, Ye Gong expressed his regret for Shi Le. That is, "The East Gate leans on the sound of the whistle far away, and the Western Regions accompany the Ceremony and Righteousness." Folding the knot Li Yangwu did not discuss, and drove away the martial whip. The "Guangwu Emperor" in the poem refers to Liu Xiu, the founding emperor of the Eastern Han Dynasty, that is, at that time, due to the collapse of the Western Han Dynasty due to Wang Mang's usurpation of the throne, the Han Guangwu Emperor restored Heshan and inherited the national unification, and the situation in the Southern Song Dynasty at that time was similar to that of the Guangwu Emperor. Emperor Gaozong of Song survived the Jing Kang Rebellion and restored national unity in Jiangnan, preserving the continuation of the Chinese regime. Ye Hao felt here that Shi Le also had the talent of founding the country and ruling the world, which could be compared with the Guangwu Emperor, and at the same time hoped that the newly established Southern Song Dynasty regime could exert great efforts to govern, prosper the country, rebuild its glory, and even restore the land. This was the common expectation of the vast majority of scholars and doctors of that era.

The situation of the times is in the heart, looking at all things and having its shadow, sincerely its intentions, correcting its heart, cultivating oneself and ruling the country and the world. His Holiness the Buddha, Shi Le, is not seeking miracles, but is actually a clear heart and a clear path, aiming to truly benefit the country and the people.
