The Age of Burial Jade: Dharma Heaven and Earth, for the sake of eternal life

The custom of burying with jade has a long history, and "jade burial" has appeared in the late primitive society. The ancients regarded jade as a mountain and river spiritual essence that absorbed the essence of the yin and yang of heaven and earth, and believed that only by using jade to block the nine tricks of the human body, the effect of incorruptible corpses could be achieved. Jade, jade plug, jade grip, jade covering, etc. came into being, and eventually developed to the use of jade clothes to dress the body of the corpse. This is another manifestation of the ancients' deification of jade. Influenced by the pre-Qin Confucian "precious jade" and the idea of filial piety, the royal family and nobles not only did not leave the jade before they died, but also buried with a large number of jade objects after death. Funerary jade reached its peak in the Han Dynasty.
