However, the owner can be completely assured that the vehicles are all new car crash test standards that have passed C-NCAP (China New Car Evaluation Rules 2021), and the crash test results can meet the protective knees.

Moreover, the C-NCAP crash test standard does not require knee airbags. If the new car is not crash-tested and does not meet the standards, Tesla will not be allowed to sell domestically.

A few days ago, some car owners uploaded a video to confirm whether the domestic version of Tesla is equipped with knee airbags, because the Tesla crash test videos and other materials he obtained show that the overseas version of Tesla is equipped with knee airbags.

And many bloggers revealed to him that Tesla treats safety equally, does not engage in such a way as "domestic reduction", and regardless of the price of the vehicle, the domestic version of the model will not reduce the number of air bags.

So he removed the revised version under the main co-driver of the vehicle, unfortunately did not find a knee airbag, only a plastic cover, no shadow of the airbag, the owner suspected that his Tesla may not be "made in shanghai super factory". And I feel that my knees are so hard that I never use knee airbags.
