In 1936, the Japanese Kwantung Army formulated the "Manchurian Agricultural Migration Plan for One Million Households." In just 9 years, 70,000 households and more than 200,000 Japanese pi civilians poured into northeast China, which is the famous Japanese pioneer group.

In May 1943, at the government's call, Hiroshi Nakajima, a Japanese laundromat clerk, and his wife Kiyoe Nakajima also came to Tohoku with their 7-year-old daughter, Nakajima Sanko, and 1-year-old son Nakajima Yuhachi.
However, what Nakajima and his wife did not expect was that this move became their life nightmare, only 2 years to the northeast, the situation changed dramatically, in 1945, the Japanese emperor announced the surrender, their pioneer group members became outcasts, no one cared, more unfortunately, Nakajima Kiyoe's husband was also conscripted into the army, only Nakajima Kiyoe with two children in the northeast of the war to survive.
Because of the lack of clothes and food, soon, the 3-year-old Nakajima Tochi fell ill with a big belly disease, looking at his dying son, Nakajima Kiyoe was heartbroken, helpless, can only send Nakajima Tohachi to someone.
Nakajima Kiyoe handed his 3-year-old son to a small trader, and was carried away by the small trader, the small trader originally wanted to give Nakajima Tohachi to a couple without children, but when he saw Nakajima's appearance, he did not dare to ask for it, so at this time, a woman rushed out of the crowd and carried Nakajima Youhachi home, she was Nakajima's Chinese adoptive mother Sun Zhenqin.
Sun Zhenqin is a well-known local midwife, she knows that Nakajima's young eight belly is caused by long-term hunger, as long as careful care, it can be restored, plus Sun Zhenqin and her husband only have one daughter, so she adopted this poor Japanese orphan.
As a result, Nakajima Yuhachi also had his own Chinese name Chen Qinghe, under the careful care of Sun Zhenqin, Nakajima's young eight's health gradually improved, and his adoptive father and adoptive mother were also very good to Nakajima's young eight, and slowly, Nakajima's young eight became cheerful.
After sending away Nakajima's young eight, Nakajima Kiyoe and his daughter spent the most difficult time in their lives, and finally waited for the opportunity to meet Japan, how to say, Nakajima young eight is his flesh and blood, isn't it? Abandoning his own children, how can Nakajima Kiyoe bear it?
Therefore, inquiring around, Nakajima Kiyoe found Sun Zhenqin, hoping to bring Nakajima Yuhachi back to Japan, but after raising it for such a long time, Sun Zhenqin was naturally unwilling, and Nakajima Yuhachi also regarded Sun Zhenqin as his mother, dead or alive, unwilling to separate, Nakajima Kiyoe could only tearfully separate from his son and return to Japan alone.
Following Sun Zhenqin, Nakajima Yuhachi spent a beautiful childhood, however, Sun Zhenqin's life, but not as moist as Nakajima Youhachi, in 1950, her husband died unexpectedly, when Nakajima Washihachi was only 8 years old, in order to better raise Nakajima Youhachi, Sun Zhenqin remarried for the first time, and the Chinese name of Nakajima Youhachi also changed from Chen Qinghe to Li Chenglin.
Soon after, in order for Nakajima's young eight to have a city hukou, Sun Zhenqin remarried again, and Li Chenglin became Zhao Chenglin again.
Under the careful care of China's adoptive mother Sun Zhenqin, Nakajima Yuhachi grew up, and in 1958, the 16-year-old Nakajima Yuhachi embarked on a journey to Japan and left his adoptive mother Sun Zhenqin, who had raised him for 16 years, because of the hurry, Nakajima Yuhachi did not even have time to say goodbye to his mother Sun Zhenqin, which became the pain of Nakajima's life.
In Japan, Nakajima Quickly completed his studies and got a high-paying job, but Nakajima was not happy, for the simple reason that at that time, Japan's view of Chinese was different, and it was not the same as what he saw, for Nakajima Youhachi, although he shed the blood of the Japanese, he looked like Chinese flesh, how could he endure this prejudice?
In order to tell more Japanese people about the real China, in 1966, Nakajima quit his high-paying job and entered the headquarters bureau of the Japan-China Friendship Association to contribute to the friendship between the two countries.
For Nakajima Youhachi, the biggest regret in this life is that he was unable to fulfill his filial piety around his adoptive mother Sun Zhenqin in China, and when Nakajima Yuhachi returned to China again, his adoptive mother Sun Zhenqin had already died of illness.
Later, Nakajima wrote a book about his experience in China, "Why Have This Life", telling more people about his life experience, so that more people know how great Sun Zhenqin, the adoptive mother who remarried twice for herself, was.
