According to the report, Turkey's ranch owner Izzet Kocak, in order to continue the summer milk production when the cows enter the indoor cold in winter, decided to try to use VR equipment to let the cows see the outdoor scenery in the summer, relax the pressure, and milk production can also be improved. He said that after using this method, milk production increased from 22 liters per day to 27 liters. He plans to buy 10 more of the same equipment in the future to further enhance the effect.
Such a dedicated VR device for cattle was originally developed in Moscow, and local researchers and veterinarians collaborated to test it on the ranch, and the Moscow Agriculture and Food Bureau pointed out that the device alleviated the anxiety and overall mood of dairy cows, while previous studies have shown that the psychological state of dairy cows affects health and milk production.
