Jiwei Network news, the former head of the Intellectual Property (IP) Center, who was in charge of Samsung's patent strategy for 10 years, filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Samsung and claimed it.

According to the Chosun Ilbo, Ahn seung-sung founded the patent company Synergy IP in 2020, and last November, Ahn filed a lawsuit in the U.S. Federal District Court in Texas, accusing Samsung Electronics and Samsung Electronics of infringing 10 patents of Synergy IP and listing the Galaxy S20 series of smartphones, Galaxy Buds and Bixby of the artificial intelligence (AI) platform as infringing products.

Industry insiders have questioned An Shengsheng's lawsuit against Samsung, believing that An Shengsheng was in charge of Samsung Electronics' patent business from 2010 to 2019, dominating various lawsuits and contracts, and is likely to use trade secrets learned during his past employment as a weapon of attack in this litigation process.

Samsung said that we have the truth of the matter, will conduct a detailed study of the complaint, and take corresponding measures.
