In fact, in addition to the elderly Long Qiming, there are many ordinary and unknown anti-war veterans, and Yang Fengqian is one of them.
Yang Fengqian, born in July 1910 in a small mountain village in Hunan, his family is very poor, his parents are farmers, he can't earn a few dollars a year, it is difficult to maintain food and clothing, and there is no money to send him to study. However, Yang Fengqian did not bow to life, he has been helping the family work since he grew up, after all, his parents are old, but he soon became the first labor force. In 1937, Japan launched a full-scale war of aggression against China, when Yang Fengqian was just preparing to get married, and the good life had not yet passed.
The day after the marriage, Yang Fengqian's family suddenly came to a few soldiers, and they took him away without saying a word, and it turned out that he had been arrested. After a short period of training for a month or two, Yang Fengqian soon set foot on the battlefield, and in the deafening sound of gunfire, he felt for the first time that his blood was boiling, and the "aggressiveness" of the Japanese had made him intolerable. Therefore, Yang Fengqian took up his weapon and rushed to the front line of the battle without a life.
Over the past few years, he successively participated in the Battle of Songhu, the Battle of Changsha, the Battle of Changheng and other battles, and made outstanding military achievements, and his superiors saw him fighting bravely, so he appointed him as the 9th squad leader of the special service company of the 190th Division of the 10th Army of the National Revolutionary Army. Subsequently, Yang Fengqian fought in Shanghai, Zhejiang, Hunan, and Jiangxi, and the number of Japanese soldiers who died under him had already exceeded dozens. In September 1941, Yang Fengqian was ordered to participate in the Second Battle of Changsha, but unexpectedly, he almost lost his life on the battlefield.
At that time, Yang Fengqian's unit was surrounded by the enemy, and if no one took the lead in the assault, the consequences would be unimaginable. At the moment of crisis, Yang Fengqian took the initiative to ask for orders to fight, and he led a company of secret agents to rush up in the face of the rain of bullets and bullets, putting life and death aside. However, Yang Fengqian was unfortunately hit by a bullet, and there were more than one shot, and after being hit by several holes in his body, he no longer had the strength to run. In the end, Yang Fengqian's eyes went black and he fell on the battlefield filled with gun smoke.
A few days later, Yang Fengqian gradually woke up, and all but him and a clerk were killed. Yang Fengqian's life is very large, there are a total of 8 bullets on his body, the doctor took out 3, and 5 remain in the body. Among them, 3 on the right back, 1 on the knee of the left foot, and 1 at the armpit of the left hand, all of which were not removed in time due to the relatively backward medical conditions at that time. In the past 77 years, 5 bullets have been "merged into one" with the old man, deeply wrapped in meat, and become a "meat ball".
After being wounded and discharged from the army, Yang Fengqian returned to his hometown, and he did not mention to anyone about joining the army and fighting before. In addition, he also sealed the medal and the wounded honor certificate in a crack in the wall of the old mansion, and no one knew about it. Later, it was not until the son renovated the old house a few years ago that he discovered the history of this 70-year seal that he learned that his father was originally a hero. At the end of October 2018, the 108-year-old Yang Fengqian passed away, and his departure was not silent, after all, his battle medal was so shining.
