In October 2021, Shanghai Zhezhong Group Co., Ltd. (stock abbreviation: Tuozhong Shares, stock code: 002346) increased its capital by RMB816 million and obtained 58.69% control of Guojing Semiconductor.

According to the announcement of Zhezhong shares, Guojing Semiconductor mainly develops, produces and sells 300mm semiconductor silicon wafers, which are suitable for the production of 12-inch wafer chips such as DRAM, NANDFlash memory chips, low-end processor chips, image processors, digital TV set-top boxes, etc., as well as the production of 12-inch wafer chips such as mobile phone baseband, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, ZigBee, NORFlash chips, and MCUs.

It is reported that domestic large fabs, including SMIC and Huahong, have extensively purchased equipment for Tuozhong shares in power system projects. In recent years, Tuozhong has also been deeply involved in the construction of many new fabs in China, and has established a deep foundation of cooperation and trust with major wafer manufacturing enterprises.
