Lai Junchen relied on Wu Zetian's trust in him and bullied others, and when he was in tongzhou, he robbed his colleagues' wives, falsely accused the Chieftain of Xifan of plotting rebellion to seize their maids, and also falsely spread Wu Zetian's holy will to seize other people's wives and daughters.
The most unfortunate thing is that he also had a conflict with his good friend Wei Suizhong at the banquet, and the two formed a vendetta. At this point, Junchen was finally killed by Wu Zetian, laying the foundation for the curse, because Wei Suizhong exposed Lai Junchen's guilt.
2. Seizure of power

Lai Junchen later falsely accused members of the Wu family as well as Princess Taiping, Li Dan and Li Xian, for plotting rebellion.
Everyone knew that Lai Junchen wanted to seize imperial power, and he falsely accused the Wu and Li families, and these people were all people who were related to Wu Zetian.
These people have been framed, then there is no one to inherit the imperial power, and Lai Junchen will have the opportunity to launch a rebellion. Lai Junchen had such great ambitions, wei Sui advised him.
