What is history: it is the echo of the past to the future, the reflection of the future on the past. - Hugo
These were two tragic cases committed by the Japanese in Heze, Shandong Province, during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.
In May 1938, the Japanese crossed the Yellow River and occupied the area around Wang Haotun, Yangzhuang and Wucheng ji in Heze County. On the morning of July 14, a Japanese soldier stationed in Yangzhuang actually tried to rape Wan Jing, a woman from Wanjia Village, in broad daylight, and was immediately stabbed to death by our villagers with a red gun and buried in a vegetable cellar.
(On June 9, 1939, Mengyin Tanbu, Shandong, Japanese troops stormed against Chinese positions.) )

The next day, the Japanese Kou Yangzhuang base camp found a missing soldier, so they rushed to Wanjia Village to ask for people, and this group of Japanese Kou found a Japanese steel helmet at the entrance of a small temple in the village, so they rushed to the village. At this time, most of the villagers had fled, leaving only some old, weak, sick and disabled, and after the Japanese Kou entered the village, they searched for them door to door, the young Wan Qingtian was shot and killed by the Japanese Kou, and a woman in her 50s surnamed Ma was tied to a tree by the Japanese army, and after being humiliated by all kinds of humiliation, she was provoked by a bayonet and died in the abdomen.
Two 70-year-old people, Wan Dengcai, Yao Gengshi, and the young Man Wan Qingxun, were dragged to the small temple for torture, and everyone said that they did not know the whereabouts of the Japanese soldier, and the Japanese officers immediately ordered the house to be burned down, cut off the heads of 9 people, and threw the bodies into the fire. The fire burned for two days and two nights, burning more than 280 houses.
When a Japanese soldier dared to go to the village to ruin women, was it because the Japanese soldier's brain was broken? In fact, the veteran felt that he could not look at the problem so simply, although this Japanese soldier died, but from the whole incident, it can be seen that under the same circumstances, the villagers did not dare to kill the Japanese soldiers every time, after all, under the circumstances at that time, the consequences of killing japanese soldiers were unbearable for some ordinary people.
Another historically recorded massacre that occurred in Heze was the Feng Zhuang Massacre. It was October 18, 1943, when more than 2,000 Japanese puppet troops surrounded Fengzhuang, which was located at the junction of Echeng, Juye, Heze, and Juancheng counties.
First, Chen Qing was shot and killed, and his mother was killed, and then he broke into Chen Qing's neighbor Tian Xuezeng's home, and used a machine gun to kill eight of Tian Xuezeng's family's nine families, only his three-year-old child survived because he was crushed by his mother.
A total of 17 women, young and old who were hiding in Xiao Zhihe's home, were all shot by the Japanese Kou with machine guns, and the Japanese Kou, who had lost their humanity, did not even spare the children, they shot and killed the 7-year-old girl Liu Wenfeng, the 4-year-old girl Tian Meilan, the 2-year-old girl Xiao Ailan, and the 2-year-old boy Xiao Xiaosan.
Feng Qigang, a prime-age villager, was stabbed to death with a bayonet after being stripped naked and beaten by Rikou. A Japanese Kou broke into Chen Jingming's house and smashed his mother to the head with a sauce jar.
Rikou gang-raped 25-year-old Zhang Lishi in full view of everyone, and then shoved a branch into her lower body and stabbed her to death with a bayonet. As the Japanese withdrew, they innocently shot and killed 27 young people. In this tragic case, Feng Zhuang, with a population of less than 150 people, was slaughtered by the Japanese Kou and 59 people, and more than 20 others were injured, and more than half of the entire village was killed or injured.
