Su Shi (8 January 1037 – 24 August 1101), courtesy name Zizhan and Hezhong, was a scholar of the Tieguan Daoist and Dongpo, known as Su Dongpo, a native of Meizhou (Meishan, Sichuan), and a famous writer, calligrapher and painter of the Northern Song Dynasty.
Su Dongpo was born in Meishan, Sichuan.
