Wuhan's first large-scale new energy vehicle battery project entered the main structure construction

Wuhan, January 7 (Xinhua) -- Late at night on January 5, the construction site of the first phase of the Avic Lithium Battery Wuhan Project of the Second Bureau of China Construction was brightly lit, and the builders who adhered to the front line rushed to the progress and guaranteed the construction period and fully promoted the construction of the project. As the first large-scale new energy vehicle battery project in Wuhan, it has officially entered the main structure construction link a month after the construction team entered the site.

Since its entry on December 6, 2021, the project has faced huge challenges of large volume and tight construction schedule. According to the site situation, the project team held several special meetings to prepare winter construction materials, overcome many unfavorable factors such as strict epidemic control, rainy and cold weather, horizontal transportation difficulties, etc., nearly 1,000 people participated in the comprehensive paving operation, and completed the basic construction of the project on the last day of 2021, which was completed 8 days earlier than planned.

"Entering the New Year is not only a change in time for us, but also a new stage in the construction of the project, and the project department will continue to overcome difficulties, stick to its post during the Spring Festival, and go all out for the capping of the main structure on March 18 this year." Project leader Wang Guotai said.

It is reported that the first phase of the AVIC Lithium Battery Wuhan Project of China Construction Second Bureau is located in Hannan District, Wuhan City, which is the first large-scale new energy vehicle battery project in Wuhan, and will fully promote the extension of the new energy industry chain, enterprise agglomeration, scale improvement and demonstration application in Wuhan after the completion of the project, bringing significant contributions to Wuhan's construction of new energy industry clusters and high-quality regional economic development.
