Driving this good screen is the latest 12th-generation Core processor (Legion 5i Pro), which can be equipped with the most powerful i7-12700H, or the next generation AMD Ryzen 9 processor (Legion 5 Pro), which can be equipped with up to 6900HX. The GeForce RTX ray-traced graphics chip delivers powerful graphics performance, up to the latest GeForce RTX 3070 Ti mobile GPU. The Legion 5 Pro series' signature performance-release design has been upgraded, with the Frost Blade Pro cooling system upgraded to 4.0 and the fan blades 40% thinner than the previous generation, helping the machine reach 165W of total TGP power while being quieter. What's more, drama players can get more than 15W of graphics power boost compared to the previous generation, squeezing out higher game frame rates.

Also upgraded are 4800Mhz DDR5 memory and up to 1TB of PCle Gen4 SSD solid-state storage, as well as improved Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity. With a battery capacity of 80Whr and super fast charging, it can be fully charged in just 30 minutes and 80%, enabling seamless gaming and productivity demands on the go. Another big change is the material. The Legion 5/5i uses an aluminum-magnesium alloy casing that says goodbye to the plastic feel of the past and elevates it to a more textured metallic feel. Legion 5/5i are available in both storm grey and cloud gray colors, the indispensable RGB lighting is built into the Legion TrueStrike keyboard, with a choice of 4-zone RGB or white backlighting, and the keyboard has replaceable WASD keycaps for a personalized, customized look. The new keyboard has an improved 1.5mm keyshift and 33% fewer tapping noise than the previous generation.

Legion 5/5i offers players a flexible screen configuration with an optional 2560 x 1440 165Hz high brush screen, covering 100% sRGB color gamut, 300 nits of brightness, and support for Dolby Vision.
