IT home January 9 news, on CES, Lenovo released Legion 5 and Legion 5i notebooks, corresponding to the domestic R7000P and Y7000P models. The mold of the new model has some changes, which is more square than the old model. T House learned that the R7000P and Y7000P have the same screen specifications, both equipped with a 15-inch 2K screen, 165 Hz refresh rate, 300 nits brightness, 3 millisecond response time, support for Dolby Vision, and also support for Nvidia G-Sync.

In terms of configuration, the Y7000P can be configured up to the Intel 12th Generation Core i7-12700H, while the R7000P is equipped with the latest AMD Ryzen 6000H series APUs. Both can be configured with up to 32 GB of DDR5-4800 memory and up to 1 TB of PCie Gen 4 SSD. Both models are available with up to 125 W TDP of the RTX 3070 Ti.

Lenovo says the series offers the Legion TrueStrike keyboard with a 33% noise reduction and a 1.5mm key travel. The keyboard can be configured to provide only white backlighting or 4-zone RGB illumination with replaceable WASD keycaps.

The difference is that the Y7000P can provide a Thunderbolt 4 port and a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4 output, but the R7000P provides two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports.

The Lenovo Legion 5i with Intel Alder Lake-H will be available from February for $1199.99 (about CNY 7643.94) and the Legion 5 with AMD Ryzen 6000 H APU will be available from April for $1129.99 (approximately CNY 7198.04).
