On January 6, Lenovo released the Legion5, Legion5i, Legion5iPro and Legacy5Pro notebooks, corresponding to the domestic rescuers R7000P, Y7000P, Y9000P and R9000P models respectively.
The latest R7000P and Y7000P Rescuers game book uses the latest mobile platform, the former with the latest AMD Ryzen6000H series APUs, the latter equipped with the latest Intel 12th generation Core i7-12700H. Both can be configured with up to 32GB of DDR5-4800 memory and up to 1TB of PCie Gen4 SSD, with the highest choice of graphics models both 125W TDP Nvidia RTX30 series GPUs, expected to be RTX3070Ti.
In terms of core configuration, the two are relatively consistent except for the different processors, and even the screen specifications are the same. Both the R7000P and Y7000P are equipped with a 15-inch 2K screen, 165Hz refresh rate, 300 nits brightness, 3 ms response time, support For Dolby Vision, and also support for Nvidia G-Sync.
The main difference is in terms of interface and battery, the Y7000P can provide Thunderbolt 4 ports and USB3.2 Gen2 Type-C with Display Port 1.4 output, while R7000P provides two USB3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports.
The Y7000P has a larger battery capacity and comes with an 80Whr battery, while the R7000P comes with a 60Whr battery. However, the actual battery life performance may not be much different, because the power performance of the AMD Ryzen 6000H series APUs will theoretically be more power-efficient.
In terms of price, the Y7000P equipped with 12th-generation Core processors starts at $1199.99 (about 7643.94 yuan); The R7000P with the Ryzen 6 series processor starts at $1129.99 (about 7198.04 yuan). At present, the price and release date of the Bank of China edition have not been announced.
Overall, the latest R7000P and Y7000P Rescuer games are consistent in positioning, the hardware level is not much different, and the user experience will not be significantly different.
Next is the Y9000P and R9000P two new rescuer series game books, these two game books are relatively high positioning, the configuration is higher than R7000P, Y7000P.
The Y9000P is optional up to i9-12900H, the R9000P is equipped with AMD Ryzen 6000H APU, and the optional maximum graphics card is the Nvidia RTX30 series GPU up to 165W TDP.
The other configurations are roughly the same, equipped with a 16-inch WQHD+16:10240Hz 500-nit screen, certified by Dolby Vision and Nvidia G-Sync, and also certified by VESA Display HDR400. The interface is basically the same, the only difference is that the R9000P replaces the Raiden 4 interface with a USB3.2 Gen2 Type-C that supports Display Port 1.4 output. In terms of battery life, both are equipped with a large 80Whr battery that supports super fast charging, and Lenovo claims to be able to charge from 0 to 80% in just 30 minutes.
The new generation of Y9000P and R9000P overseas versions will be available in February, the Y9000P starting price is 1569.99 US dollars (about 10000.84 yuan), R9000P starting price is 1429.99 US dollars (about 9109.04 yuan), the listing date and price of the two National Bank editions have not yet been announced.
