Rumors of a third-generation iPhone SE have been confusing over the past few years, as some information points to a major redesign with an iPhone 11-style look, no Touch ID Home button, and a shrunken bezels, but the rumors are clearly describing two different devices.
According to Dylandkt, Apple is developing an iPhone SE that is "similar to the XR/11," but with "a slightly smaller screen size." The device is expected to be released in 2024. Display analyst Ross Young also said that Apple is developing a 2024 iPhone SE with a 5.7 to 6.1-inch display and a hole-in-the-hole camera, which Apple is expected to adopt in the "professional" iPhone series in 2022.
