So far, Dongfeng Honda will have 4 factories in wuhan economic development zone, and the number of OEMs in China Chegu has exceeded 10, becoming the region with the highest density of depots in the country.
It is understood that Dongfeng Honda New Energy Factory plans to produce 256,000 vehicles, plans to produce Honda's new e:N series electrified models, and will be put into production in 2024 and reached production in 2027, while the full production will achieve a new output value of 50 billion yuan and a new tax of 3 billion yuan.

According to the plan, Dongfeng Honda New Energy Factory will have a complete process for the production of electric vehicles and introduce the latest automation technology to build an industry-leading digital factory.
At the same time, the new plant will make full use of renewable energy sources such as solar power generation, adopt measures such as water recycling and reuse to save resources, help carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, and achieve green and clean production.

After the completion of the project, Dongfeng Honda will achieve more than one million units of production and marketing capacity, and sit on lantu automobile, Dongfeng high-end new energy off-road vehicle, Lotus global headquarters, Xiaopeng Automobile intelligent manufacturing base, Yijiatong and other leading projects in Wuhan Economic Development Zone.
