In 2021, the postal express industry will continue to deepen the connection with integrated transportation, with more than 130 special freighters for express delivery, more than 1,500 express lines for high-speed rail transportation, and 28,500 large trunk vehicles with high transport capacity. The intelligent transformation of large-scale distribution centers has been accelerated, and the hub transfer center has basically achieved full coverage of automatic sorting. The terminal service system has been continuously improved, the county and rural co-distribution network has been accelerated, the scale of intelligent express boxes has risen steadily, and the number of public service stations has reached 161,000.
At the same time, postal express delivery enterprises have increased the application of scientific and technological research and development, and automatic sorting has been accelerated in county small distribution centers and collection terminals. Unmanned warehouse technology has been further popularized, and unmanned vehicles and drones have achieved normal operation in multiple scenarios. Big data, cloud computing, etc. help the industry to achieve digital visualization and efficient operation. 24 industry technology research and development centers have been recognized by the second batch, and the localization rate of express logistics technology and equipment has increased significantly.
The State Post Bureau said that this year it will continue to consolidate the advantages of service e-commerce, cultivate modern express logistics enterprises with international competitiveness, strengthen innovation drive, accelerate industrial digital transformation, and continuously lead the deep integration of the industrial chain and high-end leaps.
