In 1905, Chen Yun was born in Qingpu, Jiangsu Province, to a poor peasant family, because the family had been farmers facing the loess and facing the sky for generations. In that chaotic world full of smoke, the people are not happy, Chen Yun in his childhood, his parents died of illness one after another, in the year of his mother's death, Chen Yun was only 4 years old, after losing his parents, his uncle could not bear to let such a small child starve to death on the street, and took the initiative to take Chen Yun home to raise.
Although the uncle who raised Chen Yun had a skill in tailoring cloth and making clothes, it was not enough for the daily expenses of a large family, although the daily work was very hard, he was still willing to send his children to school to receive education, including Chen Yun. In 1925, Chen Yun participated in the famous May Thirtieth Movement in Shanghai, the place where ideas were concentrated, and under his leadership, the strike committee of the press and distribution office achieved a stage victory. After receiving the approval of the organization, he made a request to the organization to join the proletarian revolutionary ranks, which was approved by the relevant leaders of the superiors, and officially became a communist fighter in August of the same year. In the following years, Chen Yun, with his profound understanding of the proletarian revolution, successively held many important positions in local party organizations, making outstanding contributions to the development and growth of communist ideology in Jiangsu.
In 1934, chen Yun was elected as a member of the Politburo and a member of the Standing Committee at the collective meeting of the Central Committee through the unanimous consent of all the deputies, and soon after, he participated in an important strategic shift in the history of our Party, the Long March. Throughout the Long March, Chen Yun's team was responsible for the rear defense of the whole army, and under his command, it successfully pinned down the enemy's pursuit on many occasions and ensured the safe transfer of the central command center and the main force. At the extremely important Zunyi Conference in 1935, he firmly supported Chairman Mao's political ideas and brought about a turning point for the revolution.
In the ensuing War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation, Chen Yun heeded the call of the Party Central Committee and went to the areas where the conditions for the War of Resistance were difficult many times, developed and strengthened the revolutionary forces of the proletariat, effectively developed the economy of the revolutionary base areas, and provided a solid guarantee for the livelihood of the broad masses of the people and the material supply and demand of the people's army.
After the founding of New China, Chen Yun exerted his fists and feet in the economic field in which he was good at, and under his leadership, China began to rapidly resume life and production, the enthusiasm of the masses of the people in labor was greatly encouraged, and all trades in society also began to resume production, proceeding step by step and in an orderly and normal manner. Under his leadership, the first five-year plan suited to China's own development was formulated, laying a solid foundation for the rapid improvement of China's economy.
In Chen Yun's later years, a film and television drama called "Chen Yun Izukawa" swept across the country and was continuously broadcast on CCTV, causing quite a stir at the social level. Chen Yun also listened carefully to the plot of the play, and later after his letter reaction, CCTV quickly removed all the plots.
