The Yantaixi Changyi Railway Line runs in a north-south direction, starting from Yancheng in the north, passing through Xinghua and Taizhou in the south, crossing the Yangtze River into southern Jiangsu, passing through Jiangyin, Huishan and the south of Changzhou City, and finally reaching Yixing, with a total length of about 311km.

Jiangyin Station to Huishan Station section is an important part of Yantai Xichangyi Railway, the project starts from the construction of Jiangyin Station North of Jiangsu South Yanjiang Intercity Railway, through Chengjiang Street, Nanzha Street, Yuecheng Town, Qingyang Town to Wuxi Huishan District, and ends at Huishan Station of Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway, with a total length of about 33 kilometers, a design speed of 250 km / h, 2 stations, 1 comprehensive workshop, 1 depot, an estimated investment of 10.926 billion yuan, and a construction period of 6 years.
