This time, Sony played a number of videos at CES 2022, focusing on showing the latest research and development achievements of vision-S electric cars to the outside world, including the vehicle's internal entertainment equipment and human-computer interaction system. At the same time, the newly released electric SUV Vision-S 02 will also be equipped with 5G vehicle networking technology and 40 sensors. Sony expects to provide a car equipped with advanced gaming and audio equipment to meet the entertainment needs of passengers. And the new car is also equipped with seat speakers with a three-dimensional spatial sound field, and is compatible with the streaming service of 360 live sound effects. VISION-S will also include a fully integrated digital video service feature "Bravia CORE for VISION-S", which is designed to allow shared or exclusive video to be broadcast on the large screen in the car and the display screen behind each seat.
In fact, Sony has been making some moves, and the group first released the "VISION-S" concept at CES 2020 and showed its prototype. In December of the same year, Sony began public road testing in Europe, validating the safety of image and sensing technologies installed inside and outside the vehicle and the user experience of human-machine interface (HMI) systems. Sony then began its 5G ambient driving test in April 2021 and will continue to provide a new experience in the mobility sector that is transitioning to electric vehicles (EVs) by combining its cutting-edge technologies.
