Guangzhou, January 5 (China News Network) -- Since 1980, China Post has issued special stamps of the Chinese zodiac every year. On January 5th, the first special stamp launch event of "Year of Nongyin" was held in Guangzhou Chimelong Wildlife World "Hundred Tiger Mountain".

Zodiac stamps not only carry the Blessings of the New Year, but also are an important business card for carrying forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture. The special stamp of "The Year of Nong Yin" was created by the famous painter Mr. Feng Dazhong, with a set of 2 stamps and a full set of stamps with a face value of 2.40 yuan (RMB, the same below). Continuing the design concept of the fourth round of Zodiac stamps, interpreting the concept of "country" and "home", one stamp is called "National Fortune Changlong", depicting the image of an airy tiger on the mountain, standing far away and ambitious, conveying the meaning of the country's prosperity and ambition; the second stamp is called "Tiger Yun auspicious", depicting the warm scene of the gentle face of the tiger mother with two small tigers, implying the prosperity of the children and grandchildren and the happiness of the family.

The set of stamps is presented using offset engraving combined printing, engraved by Yuan Yishan and Liu Minghui, and printed by Beijing Stamp Factory Co., Ltd. This set of stamps was designed by Wang Huming to continue the image of the zodiac stamp and the themes of "National Fortune Changlong" and "Tiger Yun Auspicious".

It is understood that since the first launch of the zodiac special stamps held in Guangzhou in 2015, China Post has held the first birthday of the zodiac stamps in Sui in January every year for eight consecutive years.

With the theme of "Tiggo Hesui", this year's competition received a total of 14,593 works, attracting 561,800 people to participate in the voting, and the number of voters reached 1.88 million. The professional jury finally selected more than 400 winning works.
