In the opening scene of lü bu in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, when his old friend Li Su helped Dong Zhuo persuade Lü Bu to surrender, he said that Lü Bu, as a military general, relied on three treasures, that is, armor, weapons and war horses, and at that time, Lü Bu was wearing a beast face swallowing head chain armor, holding a Fang Tian painting halberd, these two are unique treasures, only the war horse is an ordinary horse, so Li Su used a red rabbit horse and a box of treasures to pull Lü Bu over, and there was a good story of "red rabbit in horses, Lü Bu among people". So with Lü Bu killed in Xia Pi, where did his three treasures end up?
First of all, everyone is most familiar with the red rabbit horse, it is said that after Cao Cao obtained the red rabbit horse, the generals under his command could not tame this fierce horse, so they never went to the battlefield again, and later before the Battle of Guandu, Liu Bei occupied Xuzhou, Cao Cao led the army to defeat Liu Bei, Guan Yu also temporarily entered the Cao camp, so Cao Cao gave the red rabbit horse to Guan Yu to win him over, and later the red rabbit horse has been with Guan Yu in the battle, knowing that after many years of defeat in Maicheng, after Guan Yu's death, the red rabbit horse also died due to old hunger strike.
Then there is the weapon, Lü Bu is famous for a while with a Fang Tian painting halberd, it is said that this long halberd is made of extremely rare meteoric iron, very heavy but also very powerful, after being obtained by Cao Cao, the generals under his command are full of praise, but when few people use this weapon, Xiahou Yuan, Zhang Liao, Cao Hong, Xu Chu and others use large knives, Zhang Gao, Xiahou Huan and other guns, Xu Huang, Zhu Ling use large axes, and Yu Ban, Li Dian, etc. are all commander-in-chief generals, so this halberd has been idle.
Later, after Cao Cao's third son Cao Zhang, knowing of the existence of this sword, he asked Cao Cao for this divine soldier, and in some later records, it can also be confirmed that Cao Zhang's weapon was a sword, such as the Battle of Hanzhong Cao Zhang's three halberds beheading the Shu general Wu Lan, the expedition to Wu Huan Cao Zhang's sword out of the Sai Qianli pursuit, he had a son who could fight a good battle, and the weapon used was exactly the halberd, so naturally Cao Cao was also happy to give this weapon to him.
Finally, there is Lü Bu's armor, which is said to be a beast-faced swallowing head chain armor in the Three Kingdoms, which is described as a rare heavy armor, and the armor of the generals at that time was basically tailor-made, so there were very few people who could use this armor freely after Lü Bu's death, or there may not be any more, so this armor no longer has the opportunity to fight, and has since been sealed in the warehouse, lost in the wars of later generations.
