Many people are unfamiliar with the Shah dynasty, but in Chinese history, wars have broken out between the Shah dynasty and the Qing dynasty in China.
Ten martial arts
The Qianlong Emperor of the Qing Dynasty was most self-conscious of the two things in his life: one was that he wrote tens of thousands of oil poems in his lifetime, claiming to be a talented man; the other was the "Ten Complete Martial Arts", which was the ten wars encountered during Qianlong's reign. Of these ten wars, two were fought with a country called Gorkha. This Gurkha is the Shah dynasty of Nepal.
In the fifty-sixth year of Qianlong (1791 in the Western calendar), the Gurkha invaded Tibet and occupied almost all of Tibet. The local government of Tibet was unable to resist the powerful Gurkha and had to send someone to Beijing to report the situation in Tibet to the Qianlong Emperor. The Qianlong Emperor's good and great achievements are extremely famous in the history of the world. Therefore, the Qianlong Emperor heard about the outbreak of war in Tibet and immediately sent Fu Kang'an to lead the Qing army to the Tibetan front.
After the Shah Dynasty saw the strength of the Qing Dynasty, it also felt a huge crisis: at this time, India was already controlled by the British forces, and it was only a matter of time before the British magic claws reached the Shah Dynasty, and if the Shah Dynasty at this time blamed the Qing Empire in the north, between the two great powers, waiting for the Shah Dynasty, it was afraid of the disaster of national destruction. Therefore, the rulers of the Shah Dynasty promptly asked the Qing court for peace and expressed their willingness to submit to the Qing Dynasty. The Initiative of the Shah Dynasty to show weakness made the Qianlong Emperor, who was extremely vain, feel very useful, so the Qing Dynasty agreed to the Shah Dynasty's request for peace.
The origin of the Dammam people
In the course of the war, a Gurkha force was stranded in China because it was lost and could not withdraw to Nepal in time, and it multiplied. Its descendants formed today's Daman people.
At first, in Tibet during the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, the rule of Tibet was in the hands of the "three lords", and the Daman people, as outsiders, relied on miscellaneous service to survive. The Kashag government of Tibet has always considered the Damans to be foreigners, not Tibetan residents.
At the end of the 1950s, a people's government was established in Tibet, and the former Kashag government was dissolved. The government at that time believed that the Daman people had the attributes of immigrants, and how to deal with immigrants could not be solved because they did not have perfect laws and regulations at that time, so the Daman people failed to obtain Chinese nationality.
The Nepalese side believes that the ancestors of the Daman people have left Nepal for hundreds of years and cannot be regarded as Nepalese in any case, so they resolutely do not recognize the Daman people as Nepalese, and in this way, the Daman people become stateless people.
Until 2003, with the improvement of Chinese laws and regulations and the relevant implementation measures related to the Nationality Law, and the chinese side had the conditions to solve the problem of immigration, the Chinese side accepted all Daman people to join the nationality of the People's Republic of China in this year, thus ending the history of their statelessness.
