Wei Zheng first defected to Li Mi, but Li Mi did not use it.
Later, Wei Zheng chose to defect to Dou Jiande, where Dou Jiande still looked down on Wei Zheng. Dou Jiande did not reuse Wei Zheng and found Li Jiancheng. So Wei Zheng turned to Li Jiancheng. The night before the Xuanwumen change, Li Jiancheng knew that the situation had changed, but he insisted on participating in the early dynasty the next day. The history books record that "Wang Naimi's completion and other harem chaos", which means that Li Shimin complained to Li Yuan that Li Jiancheng was in a disorderly harem, which made Li Yuan angry. At this time, Li Yuanji suggested directly attacking Li Shimin.
But the problem is that Li Jiancheng was confused at this time, and Li Jiancheng said: "Goodness, but do not enter the DPRK together, how do you know?"
