But lotus Evora is less than 1 million, so why say it's a supercar? Because it is not worse than the general supercar in terms of engine layout, performance, and appearance. You look at this appearance, although it is not as good as Lamborghini and Ferrari, but it is similar to McLaren? And because it is rare, the average person does not know what kind of car it is. It is reasonable to say that this kind of unpopular model, but also a sports car, the retention rate is not high. But the second-hand car I inspected today in the Lotus Evora is more expensive than the new car. In general, the situation that used cars are more expensive than new cars is still relatively normal in the sports car industry, for a few reasons: you can't order a new car or need to wait too long; the new car is too expensive or mandatory to add configuration; or it is an out-of-print model. But now Evora has been discontinued and out of print! Meet people you like, it's also worth the price. However, everything is still based on the condition of the car, and it will be plated immediately.
Because this car is rarely detected, let's first observe and admire the appearance of the vehicle. The car is very small, only less than 4 meters 4, but the wheel hub is very large, the front wheel is 19 inches, the rear wheel is 20 inches, the body line is also very smooth, or the all-aluminum frame, the appearance is still a glass fiberglass and carbon fiber mix, plus 3.5 supercharged engine, zero hundred and 4.2 seconds of acceleration, the overall product force is still quite good.
However, the front cover of this car cannot be opened, so the water tank and condenser are restricted and cannot be detected, and it is understandable to communicate with the buyer's big brother.
There is also just said, the appearance of this car is a mixture of fiberglass and carbon fiber, so the paint film instrument can not measure, mainly rely on our eyes and hands to touch. Looking at the eyes, to see whether there is disassembly, whether there is flying paint, whether there is color difference and whether there are burrs; touch with your hands, to touch whether the paint surface is smooth, whether the edges are shaved. The door hinge screws on both sides have screw marks, but this is normal, the whole Lotus car is manually assembled (the sense of dignity is full), and this twist mark is only in the tight direction, not the loose direction, so this is normal.
Then check that the front windshield production date is normal, the left door glass is also normal, and the right door glass is 2 years earlier than the factory date. If it is an ordinary car, the three bars will not hesitate to decide to replace, but the car has a small amount, and the possibility of using stock glass is also very large. It just so happened that the seller still had a few Lotus here, so I walked around the showroom and found that the door glass of the other two cars had such a situation, so it could basically be judged as the original car glass. So this is the disadvantage of "small factory", low circulation, sometimes with inventory parts, it is also understandable.
Next the engine part is detected by opening the back cover, and yes, you read this Lotus Evora engine in the back. However, in fact, its engine layout is considered to be mid-mounted, either in the back cover or in the rear, depending on the position of the engine and the relationship between the rear axle. And this 3.5T supercharged engine can output up to 405 horsepower, the maximum torque is 410, matching the 6AT gearbox, accelerating 4.2 seconds from 100 kilometers, and the power is still very good. But I also have to say that the hatchback of this car uses the space to the extreme, the engine can see part of it, and there is a small trunk, but this trunk is estimated not to even fit a suitcase.
After the engine was tested, it was found that the valve chamber cover was not disassembled; the oil cover was free of sludge, the oil was clean and there was no abnormality; and the intake manifold was not disassembled.
And the engine pawl is normal, no disassembly; the front cover of the engine is normal, no disassembly and no leakage. The original factory marks are still there, and the current state of the engine is still very good.
The battery can be used normally, that is, the parking time is too long and needs to be charged; the antifreeze freezing point is normal and can be used normally; the brake fluid is normal. Sports car brake fluid is very important and must be checked regularly during use. Overall, the engine part is not abnormal, no disassembly, and in good condition. Interior inspection is carried out below.
The interior of this Lotus Evora looks relatively simple and simple overall, but it does not lack a combat atmosphere, that is, the luxurious atmosphere is slightly insufficient, but it is still acceptable at the thought of its price. After all, the supercar that can be bought in a million years is estimated to be the only one. Let's take a look at the interior details.
The seat is basically devoid of any wear and tear, and the seat skeleton is normal and undone.
There is a rust situation in the direction pipe column, but looking at this rust situation, it should be that no anti-rust treatment has been done, and the rust point is dense, not caused by soaking water.
Then check that the main airbag and steering wheel are not disassembled, the wear is normal, and the central control function buttons and gear switches are normal. The interior is not refurbished or modified, and the overall situation is in line with the display mileage, so the following is the shelf inspection chassis.
I found a lift nearby to lift the car, and the moment I looked at the chassis, I was shocked! You can see that the entire guard plate under the body is aluminum alloy, and it can be said that in order to reduce the weight of the car, it is painstaking, regardless of the cost.
The chassis part first checked that the brake sub-pump has three disassembly, it is reasonable to say that the number of kilometers is not much, it should not be disassembled, and then it will be checked to see what the situation is.
The rear balance bar also has disassembly marks.
The engine exhaust manifold is normal, but the three-way catalytic section is disassembled, because the whole vehicle accessories are relatively new, and there is no way to determine the reason for disassembly for the time being.
There are no abnormalities in the rest of the engine transmission, as well as in the body frame. The inspection was over, and because Lotus's OBD system was inaccessible, I found a dedicated computer.
It can be seen that there is no abnormality in the change, brake, and airbag system. The roar of the end of the test, I found the 4S shop, called out the record to view, found that the brake sub-pump is because of the brake noise, the dismantling of the three-way catalysis is because of the replacement, and the dismantling of the balance lever is also because of the need to change the three-way catalysis. It seems that the reason why Lotus is only a niche sports car brand is also for a reason, and the quality is indeed worrying. After driving for less than 4,000 kilometers, the brakes sounded strangely, and the ternary catalysis was replaced. Afterwards, I checked a quote on the Internet with the same Lotus Evora, and I could see that most of the models were quoted at more than 800,000, but they all drove longer than today's car. The only one that is relatively new has not yet been licensed, with an offer of 1.1 million, so today's offer of 1.05 million is not so cost-effective.
