For the Chinese people, Kou Zhun is no stranger. Because in folk legends, Kou Zhun, like Bao Gong, is a Qing official: in the opera "Yang JiaJun", Kou Zhun is not afraid of the imperial court magnates, the wisdom of Pan Renmei, Pan Niangniang, for the Yang family grievances, and in the end, he gets the imperial court's weight and completes his merits.
However, although the ending of Kou Zhun in the opera is satisfactory, in the real history, the ending of Kou Zhun is not good, and even the deeds of Kou Zhun in history are strange to people.
Historically, Kou Zhun
Historically, Kou Zhun's fame lies in the "Tanyuan Alliance". At that time, during the reign of Emperor Zhenzong of Song, the Liao state in the north launched a large-scale southern expedition to prepare for the unification of China. Song Zhenzong's talent mo said that compared with Zhao Kuangyin, even compared with his father Zhao Guangyi, it was also obviously insufficient. Therefore, for the menacing Khitan army, Song Zhenzong panicked and planned to flee to the south to avoid the Liao soldiers.
In fact, in the course of the war, morale is very important, if Song Zhenzong fled to the south, the morale of the Song army in the north will inevitably collapse, on the contrary, the Liao soldiers will hear this benefit, morale will inevitably be boosted, perhaps Chinese history will be rewritten.
At this juncture, it was Kou Zhun who strongly recommended that Emperor Zhenzong of Song personally conscript to defend against the Liao soldiers. After Song Zhenzong arrived at the Tanyuan front, the morale of the Song army was greatly boosted, while the Liao army was caught in a dilemma because it was far away from the mainland of Daliao, so both sides had the will to end the war, and the "Tanyuan Alliance" was born in this context. Kou Zhun also gained great popularity because of the "Alliance of Tanyuan".
Kou Zhun was more upright, and Emperor Taizong of Song once compared Kou Zhun to Wei Zheng of the Tang Dynasty. However, Geng Zhi's person is in a high position, and if he meets Ying Mingzi, there may still be a good ending. Kou Zhun was assisted by Song Zhenzong, who had little brain.
For example, after the "Tanyuan Alliance", someone told Song Zhenzong that the "Tanyuan Alliance" was essentially an "alliance under the city" signed by the Great Song and the Liao State, which was a humiliation. And who forced the Emperor of the Song Dynasty to sign an alliance under the city? It's Kou Zhun! At the instigation of the traitors, there was a rift between Kou Zhun and Emperor Zhenzong.
Later in the reign of Emperor Zhenzong of Song, due to his poor health, he put Liu Hou (Liu E) in power, while Kou Bao advocated that the crown prince supervise the country. As a result, Kou Zhun and Liu E became political enemies. And Kou Zhun, because of his integrity, made countless enemies in the imperial court.
The feud between Kou Zhun and Liu E was discovered by Kou Zhun's other political enemies. As a result, other political enemies colluded with Liu Hou to exclude Kou Zhun together, and in the end, Kou Zhun was exiled by Emperor Zhenzong of Song to Leizhou as an official.
Shortly after arriving in Leizhou, Kou Zhun died of illness at the age of sixty-two.
Since ancient times, being an official has been a profound but abstract discipline. In the official arena and in the political arena, a little carelessness may crush you to pieces. Especially as a high-ranking official, it can be described as "cold in the heights".
Therefore, in ancient Chinese history, those who are in high positions can be without morality (such as Li Linfu of the Tang Dynasty), after all, virtue can be compensated by talent; they can also be incompetent (such as Yang Guozhong of the Tang Dynasty), because most of the incompetents who can hold high positions are tough in the background. Only you can't be straight, because the straight person doesn't know how to avoid it, and will inevitably be blamed on the Son of Heaven and the next to be blamed on his colleagues, which will eventually lead to all the enemies around him, and even if he wants to give up everything and be white, it is impossible.
