Laiyuan County has beautiful scenery and is surrounded by mountains, and the National Ski Jumping Training and Scientific Research Base is built between this "natural haven", and the world's largest ski jumping group can meet the training needs of national training teams such as ski jumping, Nordic biathlon, BIGAIR snowboarding, and aerial skills. On December 2, 2020, Zhao Chuan, a member of the ski jumping team, successfully achieved the first jump, ending the history of no winter jumping training venues in China and the national team renting foreign bases.
