Recent rumors have been circulating about the new Call of Duty 2022, including the DMZ mode and background set in Latin America by game journalist Tom Henderson, and now another uncle, Ralphs Valve, claims that the new Call of Duty 2022 game will have an "attack vs defense" game mode similar to "Rainbow Six: Siege".
Ralphs Valve tweeted about the rumor, after he had previously exposed other news about Call of Duty. According to his revelations, in the "Attack vs Defense" mode, the player will join one of two teams, the attacker has a goal to complete each round, and the defender uses traps, cameras and weapons to fight the attacker.
More specifically, players will be able to select a designated "character" through team votes; these votes will also elect a captain; these characters can be changed between rounds.
He also shared other details. For example, each turn has a time limit; environments can be hardened or destroyed; and a new "state system" allows players to take minor, severe, or fatal injuries. The game mode map has also been described as an enlarged version of the Call of Duty 4 CQB test map.
What RalphsValve revealed is not consistent with Tom Henderson's revelations, so it's unclear whether the new Call of Duty 2022 title will have two new modes, or whether the two whistleblowers will confuse the same new model.
Activision has not yet announced the relevant news of the new "Call of Duty" 2022, and fans need to be patient to wait for the official announcement.
