Infantino's New Year's message: FIFA is the only governing body that cares for and cares for the whole world

Live Bar December 31, 2022 is coming, FIFA President Infantino sent a New Year's message to fans around the world through the official website of FIFA.

Infantino's message:

No matter where you are, no matter how you relate to our beautiful game, I wish you and your loved ones a Happy New Year and fulfill all your hopes and dreams in 2022, the year of the FIFA World Cup.

Qatar will host its 22nd World Cup from November to December, the groundbreaking first in the Middle East, so the world will be watching Qatar.

The 2022 World Cup final will be held in a world very different from when France lifted the trophy in Moscow four years ago, and we know that this biggest stage will bring hope and encouragement to people around the world who are suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2022 World Cup in Qatar will be a special opportunity for the world to come together again in celebrating football and social inclusion. We all need it!

Whether it's the Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates, the U20 Women's World Cup in Costa Rica, the U17 Women's World Cup in India, or even the Qatar World Cup, FIFA's tournaments will be played with "health first" in mind.

At the same time, we also remain committed to solidarity with the entire football community in our day-to-day actions, as is the COVID-19 Relief Plan we are implementing, which is critical to the survival of football in many of our member associations.

Football has many different levels, but in its magical nature, all football is the same game: the game of the people. It is open to everyone on every continent, in every region, in every country.

FIFA is the only governing body that cares for and cares for the whole world. We will continue to work hard to live up to our mission and not to forget those who need help the most and those who cannot speak up, while also protecting the healthy growth of everyone else and global football.

We will continue our efforts to make football truly globalized through the management of football and business, by hosting competitions and events, by developing our sport and expanding its impact on youth and wider society.

2022 will be a year of action, but it will also be a year of dialogue. The new FIFA is a democratic institution and together with our stakeholders we will design the way forward for football, adapting football to the needs of modern society and ensuring that we can enhance our global competitiveness.

To do this, we rely on the collective solidarity and strength of the football community to ensure that the future of our sport is sustainable globally.

We rely on the majority of the crowd who are looking forward to new and exciting opportunities to dream, to develop games, to really feel part of the global football community.

We also expect unity from those at the top, without whom even the most elite football would not exist. We thank them for their invaluable contribution to the spread of football, and we rely on their support, respect and strategic vision to work to complete the discussions on the reform of the international competition calendar.

We will work together for unity and the ultimate interest of everyone.

2022 will be a special and memorable year and I wish you all the best.
