Infantino: My words have been misinterpreted and have no direct connection to the World Cup restructuring

According to the Daily Telegraph, due to the controversy caused by his speech in the European Parliament (the content of the speech can be found in the link below this article), FIFA President Infantino issued a statement saying: My words have been misinterpreted, and the relevant content is not directly related to the Restructuring of the World Cup.

Infantino's statement reads:

My speech to the European Parliament earlier today seems distorted, and here I would like to state that in my statement I would like to convey the idea that people who are in positions where they can make big decisions have an obligation to help people all over the world to improve their lives, and that if there is a better chance of life in Africa (and not just in Africa, of course), it can help the people there to develop well in their own countries.

That is the point I want to make, and these elements are not directly related to the restructuring of the World Cup (which is held every two years).
