Entering 2022, the number of Steam online users peaked at a new high, approaching 28 million people.

According to SteamDB data, steam's online peak number has reached 27942036 in recent days, and Steam's official data shows that it is 27942458.

At its peak online, CS:GO had 867,000 players, followed by DOTA 2 with 761,000 online, PUBG online with 346,000 players and Apex Legends with 221,000 players.
