Born in Gushi, Henan, Wang Xianzhi grew up in poverty and his family was in ruins, and during the civil rebellion at the end of the Tang Dynasty, he joined Wang Xu's peasant army with two older brothers, revolted to overthrow the Tang regime, and finally entered Fujian and became king, establishing the state of Min.
Before coming to the tomb of Wang Zhenzhi, the first thing you see is the marble archway, the two words "Xuanling" are written on the archway, and there is a newly paved tomb road lined with 6 stone beasts and 4 wenwu stone statues.
Pass by the second archway "Tomb of King Zhongyi of Tang". Enter the core cemetery of the cemetery, the tomb is about two meters wide, lined with 4 stone statues of Wenwu and 6 stone beasts, and what you see at the end is the main tomb.
The entire mausoleum structure is unique, unique, sitting north to south, buried tang min zhongyi wang zhenzhi and his wife, on both sides of the main tomb below a dark passage entrance, the light is very dim weed rebirth. I heard that it can lead to the tomb, tourists can enter and visit, Xiaobian I also went in to visit, found that there is nothing left, only a pile of garbage, which is very regrettable.
It is understood that the underground palace of the tomb of the Min King has long been looted. According to historical records, during the Ming Dynasty, there was a civil rebellion in Fuzhou, which intensified. Locals took advantage of the fire to loot, some people proposed to dig up the min king's cemetery palace, and heard that there were many valuable funerary items hidden inside. So a group of tomb robbers came to the tomb of King Min on the outskirts of Fuzhou and opened the underground palace to steal the treasure. Since then, the tomb of the Min King has never unearthed anything of more valuable value.
Today, the current situation of the mausoleum of the Min King is worrying, and although it is large and free to the public, it seems to be unattended.
