On one of the most exciting days of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, two Japanese lieutenant generals were killed in China

The History Inn previously introduced Lieutenant General Takehiko Yokoyama, the culprit who martyred General Zhang Zizhong, and was later killed by Zhang Zizhong's subordinate He Jifeng on June 11, 1944 (also said to be March 18, 1943).

In fact, on the same day that Takehiko Yokoyama was killed, another senior Japanese general was also killed in China, that is, Chiyota Kimura.

Takehiko Yokoyama was born in 1892 and Chiyo Kimura was born in 1893, both of whom were highly qualified students at the Japanese Army Non-Commissioned Officer School and belonged to the 25th Infantry Section.

Moreover, both of them were very enthusiastic about the war of aggression, both were militants who came to power by killing, of course, they did not have a good end, they did not seek to be born on the same day of the same month of the same year, but died on the same day of the same month of the same year.

Regarding Takehiko Yokoyama, we have introduced it before, and today we will take a look at this Kimura Chiyota.

This Kimura Chiyota is also a "talent", since August 1937 to serve in the Northeast China Kwantung Army, it can be described as "official luck and prosperity", continuous promotions, do not believe it:

In August 1938, he was only an ordinary soldier in the Kwantung Army, but by 1939 he had jumped to the position of infantry daisa, and in the past few years, he became the commander of the infantry wing of the 27th Division of the Japanese Army in the North China Front, and then became the senior deputy commander of the Japanese army in Henan, and by the time he was killed, he was already a major general in the army and the commander of the 59th Brigade of the Japanese North China Front, worthy of the name of "a big fish".

So, what trick did this guy use to get promoted so quickly? It's simple to say - fight with your life, sweep with your life.

Succeeding in ascending to power by endless killing, and eventually moving towards destruction because of killing, this is called karma!

In April 1944, in order to penetrate the Chinese mainland line of communication, the Japanese army gathered heavy troops on the Henan side and provoked the Battle of Henan. As the main force of the North China Front, Kimura Chiyota naturally played the vanguard role in this battle.

At the beginning of the Battle of Henan, the Japanese army relied on its unexpected offensive and strong firepower superiority to inflict heavy damage on our army, and even General Li Jiayu was unfortunately killed. But Chiyota Kimura had no idea that this victory would become the death knell of his destruction.

After the martyrdom of General Li Jiayu, the indignant Nationalist army, under the leadership of Ma Fawu, commander of the 40th Army, all dressed in filial piety and wearing white scarves, launched a fierce tug-of-war with the Japanese. After two days and two nights of bloody fighting, Kimura Chiyo Taibu was finally defeated due to lack of troops.

Come when you want, go when you want, how easy is it? Under the fierce pursuit, the vanguard troops led by Kimura Chiyota lost contact with the large Japanese troops and became a lone army, falling into the heavy encirclement of our army.

In order to jump out of the encirclement, Kimura Chiyo did not spend less thought, what "want to catch the old and indulge", "virtual and real combination", almost moved out of the thirty-six counts. However, Ma Fa V was determined to kill this Japanese force, and not to mention the siege, he also sent a large number of sappers to set up ambushes along the way, and filled all the routes that the Japanese army might retreat with mines.

On June 11, 1944, Kimura Chiyo, who was exhausted, desperately led his troops to retreat, but how easy was it to retreat from the mine array? In order to prevent the warhorse from being frightened, Kimura Chiyota did not even dare to ride the horse, and deliberately chose to walk, but the sky is going to kill you, how can you run away?

In the early morning, Chiyota Kimura, who was traveling to the area around the town of Yuluo in Henan, accidentally stepped on a mine, and was immediately blown off a leg, and almost did not even have time to say his last words, and died because of excessive blood loss.

At the same time, the death of the main general also completely disintegrated the remnants of Kimura Chiyotai, except for those killed by mines in the panic, and the rest surrendered.

Remember the day on June 11, 1944, when two Japanese lieutenant generals were killed in China (both posthumously promoted to lieutenant generals), which was a great pleasure!
