Kuang Fuzhao was born in 1914 in Yongxin, Jiangxi, joined the revolution at the age of 15, successively served as the commander of the Red Army, deputy regimental commander and other positions, during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he successively served as the deputy detachment leader of the second detachment of the Shanxi War Federation, and the political commissar of the First Military Subdistrict of the Eighth Route Army and the Hebei Central Military Region.

Liu Bingyan is a native of Lixian County, Hebei Province, born in 1915, at the age of 17, Liu Bingyan joined the Chinese Left-Wing Writers Union, since then, he has been carrying out the student movement, Liu Bingyan is also a high-achieving student at Peking University, studied at Peking University in 1934, and later participated in the "129" movement, after which he understood that it was the best way to serve the country by writing from Rong.

In 1937, he joined the Communist Party, and when Liu Bingyan first joined the Eighth Route Army, Kuang Fuzhao was already the secretary of the Fangshan County Party Committee of the Communist Party of China in Shanxi Province, and the time when the two people could get to know each other was in the early 1940s, when Kuang Fuzhao was the political commissar of the 10th Military Subdistrict of the Jizhong Military Region, and Liu Bingyan was the commander.

In 1945, the 10th Military Subdistrict appointed Ren Zimu as chief of staff of the Pingnan Detachment, and in October 1946, Ren Zimu was ordered to a section near Langfang of the Beining Railway (now the Beijing-Shenyang Railway) to blow up the Kuomintang military vehicles passing through here, and in this battle, Ren Zimu was seriously wounded.

Soon, Ren Zimu was sent to Niutuo Town, Gu'an County, where the headquarters of the 10th Military Subdistrict was located, because there were no medical conditions at that time, Liu Bingyan had to send someone elsewhere to please, Liu Bingyan said to Ren Zimu: "Zimu, I have sent someone to find a medical team, first insist on staying overnight, and then find a place to do surgery tomorrow to take out the bullets." That night, Liu Bingyan, Kuang Fu Zhao, ren Zimu slept on the same kang.

The next day, when Liu Bingyan and Kuang Fuzhao woke up, Ren Zimu had already died, and the two were very sad.

While chatting, Liu Bingyan and Kuang Fuzhao talked about the war, about Ren Zimu, and about sacrifice, and Liu Bingyan said: "The two of us died later, one buried on the bank of the Daqing River, one buried on the bank of the Yongding River, still standing guard for the people in the triangle. ”

Kuang Fuzhao heard yinghe: "Then we are too far away, if we are sacrificed in a battle, we will be buried with the commanders and fighters who sacrificed, do not have a coffin, the breeze and the moon are a hill, we must plant a tree, see the tree and think of people, it is best to plant a pine tree, the pine tree is not afraid of the cold, fight with snow and frost, fight with the storm, live tenaciously and upright in the struggle, much like us Communists, not afraid of all difficulties, full of optimism!" ”

In 1955, Kuang Fuzhao was awarded lieutenant general and Liu Bingyan was awarded major general, and the two had a very close relationship.

In 1996, Kuang Fuzhao died of illness, Liu Bingyan personally came to see him off, and accompanied his family to bury him in XiongXian County, Hebei Province, mi family chores, for which he also specially planted an evergreen pine.
