To this end, he was sent by his father to the neighboring village tailor Kuang Zhaozhao to apprentice.
He said that he was an apprentice, but in fact he was a handyman, a waiter, and a small long-term worker. Fortunately, others are very smart, pay attention to "stealing art", and slowly learn to cut.
In December 1927, Kuang Fuzhao was 13 years old. One day, he followed his master to Jinggangshan, and suddenly someone in the distance shouted:
"The team is coming!"
Many people have taken refuge. Kuang Fuzhao paid attention to this team, and found that although the team was not neatly dressed, everyone had a tile gray octagonal hat on their head, and in front of the hat was a five-pointed star cut from red cloth, and it was impossible to see who was an officer and who was a soldier. He inquired further and learned that this contingent was the Workers' and Peasants' Revolutionary Army (later renamed the Red Army) led by Mao Zedong from Hunan.
This was the first time that Kuang Fuzhao had seen the revolutionary ranks.
Less than a year later, in November 1928, the main force of the Red Army captured Yongxin County for the third time. Kuang Fuzhao returned to his hometown, and the landlords in the township ran away, and established the township peasant association, the trade union, and the Red Guards.
Kuang Fuzhao joined the township trade union. Because of his high enthusiasm and ability to unite and help people, he was successively elected as a trade union member and deputy director of the trade union. Everyone said, "Kuang Fu Zhao, this tailor should be out of the head." ”
As a result, Kuang Fuzhao participated in trade union activities while continuing to work as a tailor in the village.
In March 1933, the township held a meeting of regiment members in front of the port to mobilize "expanding the red", and Kuang Fuzhao led 8 regiment members to sign up, joined the Red 8th Army, and also became the head of the work, and became the political commissar of the regiment in the third year (1935). Twenty years later, Kuang Fuzhao became a lieutenant general.

In March 1935, the Red Army fought fiercely with the 19th Division of the Xiang Army, and several charges were frustrated. Holding aloft the shell gun to lead the death squad to a brave attack, a bullet shot in from the right cheek, penetrated the left shoulder blade, and instantly stained the clothes red. He roared, continued to rush forward, rushed out a few steps and fell to the ground, was carried down by the trumpeter, and was sent to the bandage to live a life.
In March 1936, during the Long March, Kuang Fuzhao led 1 battalion as the regimental rearguard, and in the counterattack of Laibinpu in Xuanwei County, Yunnan, the Red Army annihilated 2 enemy companies, destroyed 4 of its regiments, and broke out of the siege. The rearguard battalion with the protracted zhao was slow to accommodate many of the wounded and lost contact with the main force. Kuang Fuzhao organized his troops to hide in a mountain pass, broke through at dawn, turned over a large mountain, and encountered the same small Group of Dian troops. During the breakout, Kuang Fuzhao was shot in the left shoulder, and after a simple bandage, he endured severe pain and continued to command the troops to break through, resulting in no personnel in the rear guard battalion, and the legion rewarded the whole battalion with 1 silver dollar per person.
When crossing the Jade Dragon Mountain, Kuangfu Zhao's gunshot wounds were not healed, his physique was weak, and when he was a hundred meters away from the top of the mountain, his eyes suddenly turned black, his breathing was short, and his body fell straight down. This scene was discovered by Yan Fusheng, the political commissar of the division, and he shouted loudly: "Kuang Fu Zhao, don't stop!" With his other arm, he descended the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain step by step.
Kuang Fuzhao never forgot about this matter, saying: "On the road of the Long March, if there is no help from Political Commissar Yan, I will definitely be finished."
After the outbreak of the All-out War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Kuang Fuzhao was transferred to the deputy detachment commander of the second detachment of the Shanxi Provincial Field General Motion Committee, and was under the command of Dong Qiwu, commander of the 101st Division of the 35th Army of the Kuomintang Army.
In July 1938, Kuang Fuzhao went to Cheng Zihua's office for a meeting, and after the meeting, he went to visit yuanxing, a staff officer with a high fever, and left the only 10 yuan on his body to yuanxing. When he saw that Hara's shirt was torn, he immediately found a piece of fine cloth from the Japanese army, sewed a shirt by himself, and quipped:
"Let your young man wear such tattered clothes, I can't bear to be a veteran of tailoring!"
In the autumn of the same year, when Kuang Fuzhao led his troops on a road-breaking mission, he was shot through the left arm by the Japanese army. He hung his injured arm with his belt, walked more than 30 kilometers, and went to Dong Qi's martial division to treat and wash the wound, there was no anesthetic, and the pain was so painful that the beads of sweat flowed down, but he did not say a word. Dong Qiwu sighed and said, "In the past, Guan Yunchang of Shanxi shaved his bones to cure poison, and today there is a battlefield in Jiangxi to heal the wounded!" And give Kuangfuzhao a first aid kit.

In July 1940, during the Japanese army sweep, the commander of the military sub-district, Kuang Fuzhao, led his troops to surround the Japanese army at the village of Beiyangbao in Guantao. At dawn, more than 2,000 Japanese troops under the cover of artillery fire failed several strong attacks, and they failed to advance until noon, and suffered heavy casualties. The Commander of the Japanese Army was ashamed and angry, and ordered the release of poison gas, many soldiers were smoked down, and Kuang Fuzhao also fainted on the ground, but he insisted on commanding, and when night fell, suddenly the wind was fierce, the clouds were thick, and the Eighth Route Army took the opportunity to kill the encirclement. In this battle, he killed 1 Japanese squadron leader and more than 500 Japanese puppet troops.
This turned out to be the last time in Kuang Fuzhao's life that he was injured. When he was awarded the title in 1955, Lieutenant General Kuang Fuzhao saw General Dong Qiwu, and Dong Qiwu was surprised and said, "I didn't think you used to be a tailor!" ”
Kuang Fuzhao laughed and said, "I don't know, you are also from a poor peasant background!" ”
