Mitsuhide then brokered the collaboration between Yoshiaki and Nobunaga, and in 1568 Nobunaga put Ashikaga Yoshiaki on the shogun's throne. Mitsuhide held a position in Kyoto, where he was active in the Battle of Kanazakiguchi and the Battle of Enrysaji Temple, receiving 100,000 stones from Omi Shiga and becoming the lord of Sakamoto Castle. After only three years of serving Nobunaga, he came to the forefront. Why would Mitsuhide, who had nobunaga's great trust, betray the monarch? First of all, take a look at mitsuhide's portrait, giving people the feeling of "clear-headed, calm and calm", although a warrior, but proficient in waka, liange and tea ceremony, which are all skills that traveled to various countries before the age of forty to learn the Tao. In addition, wise light shows are deeply loved by the people who practice good governance, and there are still many places where people are commemorating wise light shows. Why would a figure like him kill the lord with the notoriety of being a "traitor"? Up to now, there are various theories: first, when Tanba attacked, Mitsuhide took his mother as a hostage, but because Nobunaga killed the surrendered Hatano brothers, Mitsuhide's mother was killed; second, Hideyoshi Tse retorted; third, Ieyasu said it; fourth, Genpei hate said; fifth, protected the imperial court; sixth, said that his personality was discordant, and so on.

To commemorate the completion of Azuchi Castle, a ceremony called "Zuo Yichang" was held at the new racecourse. Mitsuhide was in charge of the construction of the Imperial and Imperial Guard Seats, and in his contact with the imperial family, Mitsuhide sensed that Nobunaga's unnatural demands on the imperial court, such as the change of the imperial court's era name, were all violations of the power of the imperial court. Nobunaga also took the rank of emperor and demanded that the emperor give way to Crown Prince Makoto, who was close to him. Emperor Masanori sensed the danger that the entire imperial court would be controlled by Nobunaga when he abdicated the throne. Because he did not know what nobunaga would ask for without any official position, he elected Nobunaga to be the highest official of the imperial court, one of the highest officials of the imperial court, Guan Bai, and Zhengyi Dai. However, Nobunaga did not say that he wanted to accept any of them, and Mitsuhide should have sensed that Nobunaga's approach was to show the imperial court that the people of the world were loyal and Nobunaga himself was a heavenly man. "This is an act of undermining Japanese order!" Guangxiu has a strong sense of crisis.

In order to protect Hideyoshi of Takamatsu Castle, Nobunaga led about 20 to 30 young people with the surname Ofaka to Enter Honnoji Temple, his usual residence. Mitsuhide, who had been ordered to assist Hideyoshi, set out from Sakamoto Castle and entered The city of Tanba Kameyama Castle. On the second day, visit Mt. Atago, which borders Tanba and Yamashiro. On the first day, lots were drawn in front of the shrine, and the next day, the singer Shoba was entertained, and a concert of songs was held in the West Square on the mountain. The first sentence of Mitsuhide's chant reads to the effect that "now the wise Mitsuhide of tochi origin will rule the world in May." Shoba was surprised to hear this song, but he could not deduce the true meaning of Mitsuhide.

On the night of June 1, Mitsuhide, with 13,000 soldiers, set out from Kameyama Castle and marched toward Kyoto via Yamashiro and Laozhisaka in Tanba. Mitsuhide gave the order that "the enemy is inside Honnoji Temple" and arrived at Honnoji Temple at dawn on June 2. According to the Nobunaga Chronicle, Nobunaga initially thought that the commotion outside the temple was due to a quarrel between the minor surnames, but the sound gradually rose, and the sound of iron cannons was fired. "It must be a rebellion, who?" Nobunaga asked, and after careful observation, Senran Maru returned the favor as Mitsuhide, and Nobunaga came to the main hall from his resting place and began shooting down two or three soldiers with his bow, because the bowstring was broken, and Nobunaga continued to fight with his spear. After being wounded in the elbow, Nobunaga stopped fighting, drove the surrounding female dependents out of the main hall, ordered the minor to set fire, and then committed suicide. At the time of the Honnoji Rebellion, Nobunaga had very few subordinates around him, and all the powerful warriors led an expedition, which was the best time to attack Nobunaga. In Mitsuhide's mind, the murder of Nobunaga who violated the imperial court should not be a rebellion but a punishment.

Mitsuhide then took over Azuchi Castle and captured Nagahama Castle and SawaYama Castle. Warmly welcomed by the public, he entered Kyoto and issued a system of abolishing taxes and silver. However, at this time, the daimyo hosokawa Fujitaka, Tadaoko, and Tsutsui Shunkei, who were entrusted by Mitsuhide, did not act simultaneously. Hideyoshi, who attacked Maori in China, received information that Nobunaga was dead, and immediately returned with Maori peace talks in order to fight Mitsuhide, which is known as the "Great Return of China". Mitsuhide was also surprised by the speed of Hideyoshi's return and immediately launched a request for support from many sides, but no one responded. Hosokawa Fujitaka and Tadaoko fled to Danhou, and Tadaoko separated from his wife Mitsuhide's daughter. Tsutsui Shunkei, who was attacking Osaka, was immediately shut down after receiving information on Hideyoshi's return. On the 11th, Hideyoshi joined forces with Niwa Nagahide, Oda Nobutaka, and Ikeda Tsuneyoshi. On the 12th, Kōhide hastily sent soldiers to occupy the military stronghold of Tenno-san, but the area had been occupied by Hideyoshi's vanguard, Kiyohide Nakayama. About three hours the battle ended. The defeated Mitsuhide leaves Ryūshoji Castle and is seriously injured by a local villager on his way to Sakamoto, and finally commits suicide by cutting his stomach.

Mitsuhide's life and so on are all mysteries, and although there are many theories about the reason for the change of Honnoji Temple, there is no real evidence of it, and the reason is probably that Mitsuhide was deliberately erased by the authorities at that time. "Historical Record" after the Honnoji Mutiny: After Yamazaki's defeat to Hideyoshi Haba, the fleeing Mitsuhide became the target of the peasants' "samurai hunting", so the ending is too simple, and the simplicity is unbelievable. Records such as the Taikaku Chronicle and the Tenshō Chronicle are basically about Hideyoshi, and there are many descriptions that are clearly inconsistent with historical facts, and the exploits of Mitsuhide, who is Hideyoshi's competitor, are completely erased. Originally, the following Kagami was a trend in the Sengoku period, and there was nothing abnormal, but when he came to the Tokugawa shogunate, he was properly influenced by Confucianism, attached importance to loyalty, and betraying his master was considered to be a great rebellion, so Mitsuhide became a "negative teaching material". In fact, Guangxiu is a rare talent, not only exerting his ability on the battlefield, but also making outstanding contributions in domestic affairs. Guangxiu implements benevolent government and is deeply loved by the people, even if it is erased by those in power, there are still many beautiful stories in the folk praising Guangxiu, and even legends that Nanguangfang Tianhai is Guangxiu.
