Confucius's disciples were Mi Zi (Note 1), Shi Yulu, who was a single father (Note 2). Fearing that Lu Jun would listen to rumors and prevent him from practicing his own government, he resigned, so he asked Junzhi's recent history (Note 3) and the two of them to be officials. Mi Zi abstained from his eunuchs and ordered the second history book. Fang Shu was restrained by his elbows, and if the book was not good, he would be angry, and the second history would be troubled, and he would resign and return to Lu. Mi Zi said: "The Book of the Son is not very good, and the Son reluctantly returns." ”

Ershi reported to Jun Yue: "Mi Zi made the courtiers write and restrained (Note 4), the book was evil and angry, and the officials laughed at it." This subject went to come also. Lu Jun asked Confucius, and Zi Yue said, "Mi is not even, so is the gentleman." His talent is the emperor of the king, Qu Jiezhi single father, will be self-test also. Who means to take this as a counsel? Gong Yu (Note 5), too breathless and sighed: "This widow is not good." Those who are poor and chaotic and blame their good are not (Note 6). In the second history of Wei (Note 7), the widow cannot know his faults; the widow, the widow cannot self-envy. The messenger who he loved told mi zi: "From now on, the single father is not my own, from the system of the son, there is a convenience to the people, and the son is determined to do it." Five years in a word. "Mi Zi obeyed the edict and was able to carry out his own government, so he ruled with a single father. When Mi Zizhen admonished the officials in Yizhong, he ordered the two officials to record. When they first started writing, Mi Zizi pulled their elbows and scolded them for not writing well. The two officials were very worried, so they asked for their resignation and returned to the capital of the State of Lu. Mi Zi said, "You have written very badly, so you must work hard when you go back." ”

After the two officials returned to the capital, they reported to Lu Jun: "Mi Zi asked us to write, but he took our arms on the side, and scolded us for not writing well, which made the officials in Yizhong laugh, and we had to leave him and come back." Lu Jun consulted Confucius on this matter, and Confucius said, "Mi Buqi is a gentleman." In terms of his talents, he is enough to act as a hegemon and a king's assistant, and this time Qu Zhijie governs the single father, in order to test his own ability. I suppose he used this as a counselor, right? Lu Jun woke up and sighed deeply, "This is my bad. I disturb Mi Zi's push of the executive order and ask him to do a good job, which is not right. Without the two servants, I would not have been able to know my fault; without you, sir, I would not have been able to wake up. So he immediately sent his beloved emissary to Mi Zi and said, "From now on, the governance of a single father is not my responsibility, but is carried out entirely according to your system." If there is something convenient for the people, you can decide for yourself, and you only need to report the main points of government once every five years. Mi Zi respectfully accepted the edict and was able to carry out his own decree smoothly, so that the territory of the single father was very well governed. He personally practiced simple and dignified behavior, expounded the principle of respect and respect for relatives, promoted the character of sincerity and respect, implemented the policy of benevolence and righteousness, and taught the people to be sincere and honest, to achieve loyalty and trustworthiness, so that the people were educated.
