Using simple blue and white as the language and ceramics as the medium, the artists have created more than 70 pieces/groups of porcelain plate paintings, installations, sculptures and ceramic utensils, covering landscapes, flowers and birds, figures, abstractions and other themes. For example, Lü Pinchang's "Light" series depicts the poetic existence of light in the form of the West, borrowing the chinese traditional blank space; Leng Jun's "High Branch Diagram", Yi Pen Grass, Wind God Junyi; Jiang Bo's "Security Inspection" series, which associates ceramic sculpture with contemporary luggage; and Fang Lijun injects experimental expression into the blue and white decoration through 57x51x22 cm sculpture.

Curator Luo Xiaocong introduced that Jingdezhen's blue and white porcelain has a great influence on the world, but in the inheritance of thousands of years, an old-fashioned practice, pattern or decoration has been formed, and the artistic language lacks independence. "The exhibition looks at qinghua with an artistic eye, experimentally explores its future path, and gives this ancient great pearl a new life, a new concept, a new artistic language, and adapts to the development of contemporary art."

Blue and white is the most wonderful expression of Jingdezhen culture. Shanghai Yuyuan Huabao Building, a nearly 40-year-old arts and crafts building, has deep roots in ceramic art and Jingdezhen, and has always maintained a high frequency interaction with them. As the first exhibition of the "Tale of Two Cities" series, "Qinglan" tries to connect the two cities of Shanghai and Jingdezhen together, so as to realize the exchange between Changjiang and Shenjiang, the dialogue between art and life, and the exploration of inheritance and innovation. After the opening ceremony, academic host Lv Pinchang hosted the "Yu see Jingdezhen Cultural Theme Forum" in Huabao Building, and the guests jointly discussed the new path of contemporary blue and white creation.

After "Yumi Jingdezhen", "Yumi Yixing", "Yumi Dongyang", "Yumi Longquan" will take turns to debut, offering art lovers more masterpieces from the origin.
