The history of Yongfeng County can be traced back to the Han Dynasty and is an important part of Luling culture. When Emperor Xian of Han established Luling County, Yangcheng County and Xingping County were established under the jurisdiction of present-day Yongfeng County. During the reign of Emperor Wu of Jin, Yangcheng County was renamed Yangfeng County. Since Yangcheng County is the earliest name used in Yongfeng County, Yongfeng County is also called Yangcheng County. During the reign of Emperor Wen of Sui, Yangfeng County and Xingping County were merged into Luling County. During the Sui Dynasty, the entire territory of Yongfeng County was merged into Jishui County.
In 1054, Emperor Renzong of Song issued an edict dividing Jishui County in two. The county seat of Yongfeng County was established in Bao'en Town, which is today's Enjiang Town. Enjiang Ancient City was founded in the Song Dynasty, and the existing Enjiang Ancient City Wall was built by the Ming Dynasty on the basis of the ancient city wall of the Song Dynasty. Enjiang Ancient City has the longest existing Ming Dynasty ancient city wall in Jiangxi Province, and it has experienced vicissitudes and mulberry fields, witnessing the thousand-year journey of Yongfeng County.
At the end of the Southern Song Dynasty, the Yuan army went south, and Wen Tianxiang raised an army to serve the king. The three brothers Of Yongfeng, Zou Huan, Luo Kaili, and Li Shi, responded to Wen Tianxiang and raised an army to attack the county town of Yongfeng, which was occupied by the Yuan army. The battle lasted only half a day, and Yongfeng Erlang recaptured the county seat. National History of the Song Dynasty. The Biography of Zhongyi Records that Zou Huan, Zi Fengshu, a native of Jishui, Jiangxi, later moved to Yongfeng County. Zou Huan was an important general of Wen Tianxiang and served as the deputy envoy of Jiangxi and Jiangdong. After Wen Tianxiang was captured, Zou Huan committed suicide and was martyred. Luo Kaili, Zi Zhengfu, a native of Shuixin Village, Yongfeng Township, Yongfeng County, and an important general of Wen Tianxiang. Luo Kaili's army was defeated and captured, and the Yuan Dynasty Xu surrendered with the high-ranking official Houlu. Luo Kailining died unyieldingly and was martyred in prison for eight days on hunger strike. The three Li brothers are from Shaxi Village, Mingde Township, Yongfeng County, and are in the same village as Ouyang Xiu. After the three Li brothers raised their armies, they fought several major battles with the Yuan army and were martyred on the battlefield.
Luling culture is known for its "article festivals", and Wen Tianxiang and zou huan, Luo Kaili, Li's three brothers and others have composed the Luling festival culture with a passion. When you climb the walls of the ancient city of Enjiang, you can overlook the rolling waters of the east of the Enjiang River, remember Wen Tianxiang, and remember the three brothers of Zou Huan, Luo Kaili, and Li Shi, who are loyal to the righteous people of Yongfeng. Ouyang Xiu was born in Shuxiang Mendi, and his father Ouyang Guan and uncle Ouyang Ye entered the same high school in 1000 AD. When Ouyang Xiu was 4 years old, Ouyang Guan unfortunately died of illness. Lady Zheng, with the help of her younger uncle Ouyang Ye, not only raised Ouyang Xiu as an adult, but also trained Ouyang Xiu into a generation of Wenzong.
When Ouyang Xiu was young, there was only a widowed mother, the Zheng family, and the family was very poor. Lady Zheng did not have money for Ouyang Xiu to sign up for study, so she personally taught her son to read. Mrs. Zheng did not have money to buy stationery, so she folded the reeds and dipped them in water and taught her son to write on the ground. Zheng's painting di dictates, Ouyang Xiu is also very competitive, and at a young age, he was admitted to the Xiucai meritorious name. When Ouyang Xiu was 16 years old, he took the name of Luosun Mountain. Lady Zheng, with her motherly heart, encouraged Ouyang Xiu not to be discouraged. Ouyang Xiu read hard under the encouragement of his mother and uncle, and finally won the title of the gold list, and successively passed the examination and entered the meritorious name.
After Ouyang Xiu developed, he was very filial to his loving mother and uncle. After Lady Zheng's death, Ouyang Xiu sent his mother's coffin back to his hometown and buried it with his father. Ouyang Xiu wrote the "Takioka Table" for his parents, which has a pivotal position in the Chinese literary world and is one of the three major ritual texts in ancient China. The story of the Ogi ogi godson is widely known, and the Omu Zheng clan is therefore known as the Four Wise Mothers of China along with Meng Mu, Tao Mu, and Mother-in-law.
Ouyang Xiu's handwritten "Takioka Table", which is now preserved in the Xiyang Palace Scenic Area of Yongfeng County, is a national key cultural relics protection unit. In the ancient city of Enjiang, there is a statue of the painted Ogi Godson, a replica of the Takioka Watch, and a statue of the "Dragon King Borrowing Watch". Luo Lun, zi Yingkui, a native of Shuixin Village, Yongfeng Township, Yongfeng County, is a descendant of the national hero Luo Kaili. After Liu Xuan's inscription, the uncle Nie Clan was proud and gave the best homestead in the county town to Liu Xuan to build the Zhuangyuan Mansion. When Dong Deyuan was in the Examination of Enbang Zhuangyuan, Yongfeng County ordered Wu Nanlao to lead the people of Yongfeng to establish the Zhuangyuan Building on the shore of the Enjiang River. When Zeng Tang, Luo Lun, and Liu Xuan were in the middle of the Zhuangyuan Examination, Yongfeng County all repaired the Zhuangyuan Building. After hundreds of years of ups and downs, ZhuangyuanLou still stands in the scenic area of Enjiang Ancient City. Other places to build bridges, the bridge is definitely straight, Enjiang Ancient Bridge is the country's unique curved stone arch ancient bridge. Historically, there is a sandbar that divides the Enjiang River into two, the mainstream name is Jichuan, and the tributary is called Xiaojiang. The people of Yongfeng crossed the Jichuan River and built a large stone arch bridge to lead to the sandbar, known as the Jichuan Bridge. The people of Yongfeng also built a small stone arch bridge on the small river, which was connected to the sandbar, known as the small bridge.
During the Qing Dynasty, the Enjiang River sent a large flood and washed away the sandbar. The people of Yongfeng had to build a bridge, connecting the small bridge with the Jichuan Bridge, which became the enjiang ancient bridge that has been preserved to this day. Because the small bridge and the Jichuan Bridge were not straight in the first place, it created the only curved Enjiang Ancient Bridge in the country with no other semicolon.
