The first couplet: Changde Mountain Youde; Changsha sand water no sand.
A friend left a message saying: "I have seen a couplet, Changde Deshan Mountain has virtue, Changsha sand water no sand." This is a description of the two places in Hunan, very cleverly and neatly. ”
Indeed, a couplet sums up the two locations of "Changde" and "Changsha" in Hunan Province, and also uses the "thimble technique", which is catchy to read and full of charm.
Changsha is very famous, and basically everyone has heard of it. But in Changde's words, the fame is much smaller. As a result, this couplet juxtaposed Changde and Changsha, which directly made people remember Changde, which can be described as a great achievement.
However, this couplet seems to be in order to highlight "Changde", so the lower couplet is quite unusual.
The so-called "Wuhua Tianbao, the spirit of the people", Changde has virtue mountain is not unusual, "mountain has virtue" is not unusual, are in line with cognition.
But to say that Changsha has "no sand in the water" is too ridiculous. How can the rivers of Changsha be without sand?
As long as it is a natural river, there must be sand, and the difference is only more or less.
Obviously, because the upper link uses "mountain has virtue", so the lower link can only be "water without sand", but it is a bit "worried about giving new words", which is a bit far-fetched.
But then again, it's rare to be able to get to this point.
After all, the upper and lower links must use the place names of Hunan, and the cities in the lower links must also have fame, so as to set off the "Changde" of the upper links.

The second couplet: Zimen Bridge, Bridge Sunbath, Wind Blowing Buckwheat Bridge Does Not Move; Tianxin Pavilion, Pavilion Falling Pigeon, Stone Pigeon Flying Pavilion Does Not Fly.
This is a pair that has been circulated in folklore for many years, and many friends who like couplets should have heard of it.
The thimble (bead) and harmonic technique used in the couplet, although somewhat similar to word games, is a very test of human talent.
It is said that in ancient times, a poor scholar passed by the location of "Zimen Bridge" and saw that there were ordinary people drying "buckwheat" on the bridge, so the scholar had a clever move and came up with the upper link: "Zimen Bridge, the bridge is drying buckwheat, and the wind blows the buckwheat bridge without moving." ”
Although the student came up with the upper link, he could not think of the lower link himself. Tell your friends about this uplink, and no one can match it.
As a result, this uplink became absolute and spread among the people.
Later, a reader came to the Tianxin Pavilion in Changsha, saw a pigeon, suddenly came to the inspiration, and finally came out of the lower link: "Tianxin Pavilion, Pavilion Falling Pigeon, Stone Pigeon Flying Pavilion does not fly." ”
After this lower link came out, everyone praised it, so this lower link can be described as a big name in the folk.

The 3rd couplet: I am not appreciative; after all, deceiving people is not a hero.
The author of this couplet is the late Qing dynasty general Yang Fang. He served as an official governor of Gansu and a directly subordinate viceroy, and was a well-known general in the late Qing Dynasty.
This couplet is about calmly coping with the jealousy of others, and the bottom link is talking about what is the real "hero".
As the saying goes: "Not inviting people to be jealous is a mediocre talent", Liang Qichao said: "Only mediocre people have no blame and no reputation", so it is not their fault to be jealous of many people.
Yang Fang went a step further, saying that others are jealous of you, which is actually another form of appreciation. The jealousy of others is like a spur to you.
Thinking like this, you can calmly face the jealousy of others. There is no need to always dwell on the jealousy of others, but you can calmly deal with it, face life positively, and actively create greater achievements.
The lower link means that after a person has power and status, he should not bully others. Bullying others and bullying the small with the big is not a hero at all.
The lower link shows Yang Fang's correct understanding of heroes and good men: "If a person is a bully, he is not a real hero at all. ”
This couplet reflects Yang Fang's "big husband" spirit, and there is a philosophy in the heroism, which is really amazing.
Of course, some friends may say: "Appreciation and heroes do not seem to be right, how can we say that the battle is neat?" ”
Again, the old question, this is the self-pairing rule of the couplet. That is to say, the appreciation and awareness in appreciation are similar in meaning, so it is already "self-right", and there is no need to care about the lower link.
In the same way, the "hero" of the lower link is the same, the British and the male are paired with each other, so there is no need to care about the upper link.
Some people also said: "That's not okay, shanglian jealousY I am not appreciative, there is a non- The lower link also has a non, repeat the word, can it be counted as a couplet? ”
In fact, this is called the confrontation of structure. It's like a lot of texts, it's a structural battle.
For example, the "Preface to the Tengwang Pavilion" everyone will memorize it, which has the sentence "DuDu Yan Gong Zhi Ya Wang, Tang Ji Is Far Away; Yuwen Xinzhou Yi Fan, Qiu Wei Is Temporarily Stationed".
Why is there one above and one below? It is precisely because words such as "of" do not in fact affect the "confrontation" of the upper and lower links, so this is the "confrontation of structure".
Many of the couplets circulated in folklore are confrontations of this structure, not the confrontation of the rhythmic poems that everyone thinks.
