Question 1: In this round of the epidemic, the number of local confirmed patients in Shaanxi has exceeded 1,000, and these patients are concentrated in several designated hospitals in Xi'an for treatment. What is the current status of treatment? If the number of subsequent cases continues to increase, can medical resources be effectively guaranteed?

A: We have now prepared more than 40 medical teams from Shaanxi and Xi'an, distributed in various designated hospitals, and these medical teams are organized to receive wards and carry out medical treatment. At the national level, national medical treatment experts and hospital infection experts have also been prepared to participate in the rescue and treatment work together with the local area. We have activated 3 designated hospitals and the 4th designated hospital is ready. All beds should be more than 3,000. According to the current epidemic situation, our medical resources can ensure the adequate treatment of current patients.

Question 2: How to effectively implement classified treatment for patients of different ages, especially for 90-year-old elderly patients, and infants under 1 year old, how to implement more detailed treatment?

A: Overall, these patients are still mild and ordinary. We currently have 11 severe patients, and the condition is relatively stable. The new crown is also relatively controllable.

For the patients we see severely, most of them are older and have more underlying diseases, so in fact, sometimes the new crown of these patients may not be particularly serious, but the basic disease may be more serious than the new crown. Therefore, we will also have a multidisciplinary team every day, on the one hand, we must actively treat the new crown, on the other hand, our multidisciplinary team has also actively treated the primary disease and the underlying disease. Therefore, the current condition of these severe patients is basically stable.

For children, we have a special pediatric team to do some of these treatments. At the same time, we have also strengthened the power of care. By strengthening nursing, we can do a better job of refined management so that patients can recover better.

Since December 29th, in fact, there have been discharged patients one after another, and we have also prepared rehabilitation hospitals to better monitor the health and rehabilitation management of these discharged patients.
