Today (January 1) is the 78th day of Shenzhou 13 group orbital flight, and it is also the first time that Chinese astronauts have celebrated the New Year in space, how will they welcome the arrival of the New Year?
Liu Guanqing, CCTV reporter of the General Radio Station: On the occasion of the arrival of 2022, let's take a look at how the Shenzhou 13 astronaut crew will cross the year in space.

First, let's look at this big screen, this is the Chinese space station, it is currently flying at a speed of 7.6 kilometers per second at an altitude of 383 kilometers, at such a long distance, what are astronauts doing at this moment?
On this screen, we see that astronauts Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu are collecting samples, which has been going on for a morning, and now that it is nearing the end, they are loading the collected samples into storage bags.
Astronaut Zhai Zhigang is now staring at a screen, he has been busy for several hours in the morning, at this moment, he is using a penguin suit, for physical recovery exercises. In space, exercise is also a job.
On this screen we can see a close-up, astronauts Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu have basically completed the collection of samples.
Starting at 8 a.m., the astronauts completed routine medical examinations, sampled surface microbes and airborne microbes, and were busy until 12:30 p.m. before starting lunch.
After a short lunch break, the three astronauts left the sleeping capsule and began physical training. Wang Yaping mainly uses a treadmill for aerobic exercise, Ye Guangfu is to make full use of elasticity to bring exercise strength, Zhai Zhigang's exercise is the most characteristic, it seems that the range of movement is not large, in fact, the whole person is in the static force to maintain a delicate balance.
On the first day of the new year, the three astronauts will have a dialogue with young students from Beijing, Hong Kong and Macao, and the astronaut crew will also make corresponding preparations.
Fan Yongliang, deputy chief designer of the astronaut system of the China Astronaut Scientific Research and Training Center: Since entering orbit until today, the entire on-orbit work arrangement of astronauts is very full, including today, the work arrangement is also full. From the beginning, the astronauts began medical examination, microbial sampling and other related work, these work astronauts also completed very well, in orbit between them to cooperate with this period of time, but also better and better. Our ground flight controllers also stuck to their posts, and together with our astronauts, stood up for the last shift of 2021 to welcome the arrival of the new year.
