Some people who do not know the relationship between Xu Shiyou and Qian Jun very well, I am afraid that there is only one cognition, that is, both of them came out of the Red Fourth Front, in fact, the relationship between the two is not ordinary, can be regarded as "brothers of the division", because the two were out of the Shaolin Temple before.
Shaolin Temple was founded in the Northern Wei Dynasty, and later in the late Sui and early Tang Dynasties, Shaolin martial monks were appreciated by Li Shimin, Li Shimin gave a thousand acres of land, a body of water mill, since then, the Shaolin Temple is famous all over the world, known as "the world's first brake", and now, there is such a sentence, "The world of martial arts out of Shaolin." ”
In 1905, Xu Shiyou was born in the Dabie Mountains at the junction of Henan and Hubei provinces, due to his family's poverty, Xu Shiyou had to earn a living early, and at the age of 8, in order to eat enough, Xu Shiyou came to the Shaolin Temple.
In the Shaolin Temple, Xu Shiyou was first a miscellaneous person, and in 1945 Xu Shiyou recalled in his autobiography: "In these years, I have learned eighteen weapons, and I have also learned to walk on the wall of the cornice. This makes me feel remarkable, worthy of being a hero and a good man, and I will fight all the unfair things in the world in the future. ”
At the Shaolin Temple, Xu Shiyou's name was "Yongxiang", and 8 years later, Xu Shiyou learned martial arts and was ready to return to his hometown, when the master asked him: "From today onwards, do you really want to return to the world?" ”
Xu Shiyou: "It was the Shaolin Temple that gave the disciple a life, and the disciple will remember it for the rest of his life." In the future, although I will not be a Buddhist disciple, I will also be a good friend of the Shakya. ”
Hence the name of Xu Shiyou as "Shiyou"
In 1935, when the Red Army and the Red Fourth Front met in Sichuan, Chairman Mao had long heard of this Shaolin monk general, so he met Xu Shiyou, and Chairman Mao said: "Call Shiyou, the friend of the world Wow." ”
In this way, Xu Shiyou's name was finally settled.
Qian Jun, a native of Guangshan County, Henan Province, is the same age as Xu Shiyou, both born in 1905, but Qian Jun entered the Shaolin Temple later than Xu Shiyou.
When he was 6 years old, due to his family's poverty, Qian Jun had to start herding cattle for the landlord's family, the landlord was not a good person, often exploited him, Qian Jun could not help it, ran away, and came to a passing lacquer maker to beg for food.
This lacquer painter is not a good person, his temper is not good, every time he encounters anything unhappy, he punches and kicks Qian Jun, when he was 11 years old, Qian Jun could no longer stand it, he ran away, this time, he came to the Shaolin Temple.
Qian Jun entered the Shaolin Temple 3 years later than Xu Shiyou, but the two were born in the Same Year Shaolin Temple.
At the beginning of Qian Jun's arrival at the Shaolin Temple, the monk on duty asked him to split the wood and burn the fire, but did not find the axe, Qian Jun went to ask, the monk on duty immediately used his hand as a knife to split the wood, Qian Jun was very shocked, so he also began to practice the iron palm.
In the Shaolin Temple for 5 years to learn martial arts, Qian Jun trained the famous martial arts, is a pair of "iron palms", after the founding of the country, Qian Jun went to northern Jiangsu to check the militia work, in the rest, everyone knows that Qian Jun is a person with strong martial arts, so they have let him perform, they want Qian Jun to split the stone.
Qian Jun was very interested and agreed, but at that time, there were no big stones nearby, and someone moved the big stones of pickles at home, and Qian Jun did not panic at all when he saw this stone.
In the whispers of the crowd, Qian Jun walked to the stone, raised his hand violently, and then waved it down, and the stone shattered in response.
Everyone was shocked at first sight and applauded.
Xu Shiyou learned martial arts in the Shaolin Temple, which is more chaotic, some small stories, you can see that his martial arts are equally strong, once, a Soviet military delegation visited Nanjing, Xu Shiyou as the commander of the Nanjing Military Region received them.
At that time, in the military region, an officer of the Soviet army lifted a drum-shaped stone pier, and everyone praised it one after another, and the people in our army knew that Xu Shiyou was also a master of martial arts, so they asked him to try it too.
He raised the stone lion next to him with both hands and walked steadily for 3 laps, the officer of the Soviet army was a little unconvinced, and he also tried to hold it, but he just couldn't lift it, at this time, everyone knew that Xu Shiyou's martial arts were indeed blown a lot.
In 1927, Qian Jun joined the Red Army, after that, he has been following the troops to the south to fight in the northern war, in 1930, Qian Jun also led people to capture a Kuomintang plane, in the period of the agrarian revolution, Qian Jun experienced hundreds of battles, and made many meritorious contributions to the revolution.
In 1933, when Qian Jun was serving as a pistol captain in the Hubei, Yu, and Anhui Special Committees, when fighting with the landlords, dozens of people surrounded him, Qian Jun did not panic at all, he climbed over the wall, some people climbed on the house to arrest him, but they were all thrown down by him with one hand, and some people were thrown to death on the spot.
Although Qian Jun is strong in martial arts, he never shows it easily, especially after joining the Red Army, some people come to him and want to talk to him, but they are all rejected, Qian Jun's consideration is very simple, he said: "People with martial arts are not the same as people who don't know martial arts, sometimes you don't want to hurt people when you shoot, but often it backfires, and you mistakenly hurt people when you shoot." ”
Because he was afraid of hurting his comrades, Qian Jun's most common practice was to pretend to be a "dwarf", bow to the wind, and easily not open his hands.
In 1936, the three main forces of the Red Army met the division and came to Yan'an, Xu Shiyou entered the Kang Da to study, Qian Jun also came to the Kang Da, in an exchange, the two talked about their past, at this time, the two of them learned that it was the same Shaolin, the brothers were actually "division brothers"
Xu Shiyou was very kind to his "disciple", and the two also formed a deep friendship.
When he was awarded the title in 1955, Xu Shiyou was awarded the rank of general for his outstanding contributions to the revolution, and Qian Jun became a founding lieutenant general.
In his later years, Xu Shiyou often went to talk to Qian Jun, although the two of them had their ears behind their backs, but they did not delay the chat between them at all, although the answers of the two were not questions, they were still chatting with relish.
After returning home, Xu Shiyou would also ask the guards, "What did Commander Qian say?" ”
In 1985, Xu Shiyou died of illness at the age of 80, 5 years later, Qian Jun died of illness at the age of 85, the two generals came out of Shaolin together, contributed to the revolution together, and became the founding generals, their stories must be forever engraved on the monument of history, for posterity to respect and love.
