Zhao Zhen (赵祯) (30 May 1010 – 30 April 1063) was the sixth son of Zhao Heng, Emperor Zhenzong of Song, and the fourth emperor of the Song Dynasty. Zhao Zhen had a gentle personality and a simple life, and his forty-one years on the throne were the best era of the Song Dynasty, with no war in the country, the people were very happy, the economy was prosperous, and the culture was prosperous.
In history, there were two emperors who were good at advice, one was Li Shimin of Tang Taizong, and the other was Zhao Zhen of Song Renzong. Wei Zheng advised Li Shimin all his life, but after Wei Zheng's death, Li Shimin smashed his tombstone, and it seems that Wei Zheng really made Li Shimin angry.

According to the "History of Song", when Bao Zheng angrily scolded Song Renzong, he gushed endlessly and spat on the emperor's face, but Song Renzong wiped his spit on the side, and on the other hand, he had to lose his smile, and his mouth said that it was good!
No way, Song Renzong was such an emperor, very lenient to the ministers. Emperor Renzong of Song appointed Zhang Yaozuo as the third envoy, and after Bao Zheng heard about it, he could not directly advise; Zhao Zhen changed his order to Zhang Yaozuo as an envoy of jiedushi, and when Bao Zheng heard this, he scolded him as a "emperor of the night", can such a person serve as an envoy of jiedushi?
Bao Zheng entered the palace with a few imperial histories, opened his mouth and scolded Song Renzong, and the spit once again splashed on the emperor's face, but Song Renzong was used to it. After Bao Zheng finished scolding, Song Renzong stopped mentioning this matter.

In the eighth year of Jiayou (1063 AD), Emperor Renzong of Song died. After The death of Song Renzong, the people cried loudly, and the babies also cried for three days, and for a while the Song Dynasty wailed all over the sky.
After the news of Song Renzong's death reached the Liao Kingdom, the whole country mourned, and the Liao Daozong Yelü Hongji stood unsteadily, sat on the ground and cried unceasingly, he had a good relationship with Song Renzong, and he greatly admired Song Renzong's personality.
